Jacket possibilites?

Opinions anyone? :)

So from Nov. 25 - Jan. 1st I am going to be taking a trip through China and Japan. Yes, I'm lucky, but this isn't a result of being spoiled... just lots of hard work and some unfortunate events.
At any rate, I'd like to meet some of you fine folks in the community for fun and games, and of course dorking about in lolita clothing. So can I get a comment on anyone who lives in the following cities and would like to hang out?
San Francisco
Hong Kong
Shanghai
Beijing
Tokyo
Please comment below, and I'll make sure to email you so we can start figuring things out. I won't ask anyone to play tour guide because I'm from a big city myself and I know how that can be a bit annoying. But if anyone wants to show off their hometown, please feel free. Especially anyone who wants to show me great places in China to eat because I think half the reason I am going is for delicious noodles. XDDD
Also, I wouldn't mind hosting a gothic lolita event in San Francisco, or co-hosting with the local group. I'd host one pretty much anywhere, in fact, so lemme know...
Hello there! My name is Sadie, and I am in the process of creating a Lolita website.
Everyone is always after patterns arent they? Well so am i, but so
that i can create a database of patterns online. Then everyone will
have patterns all the time, and we can direct everyone who asks
straight to the database.
So here is how it works. You email me patterns (from Gosu Loli, GBL,
handmade GL etc) and you get handmade jewellery in return. Cool huh?
It is a bit of a lucky dip im afraid as i have so much lying around,
but its all pretty.

Forgive me...it seems that all I seem to do when I post is ask questions. >__< But for an upcoming Halloween outfit, I was thinking of incorporating a white leather waist cincher into a lolita outfit. Would this work or look too strange? If the former, are there any fabric stores (physical or online) that sell the material to make one? I've tried looking at Hancock Fabrics, JoAnns, Denverfabrics.com, and Walmart, but so far no luck. :/
Also, I've been thinking about cutting my hair (planned to do it around Christmas last year, but ended up chickening out); is there a sort of cut that would fit most genres of the lolita style (gothic, punk, sweet, etc.)? Because I thought about a layered cut that seems to go with a lot of punk lolita looks, but I wasn't sure if that would make my hair more difficult to style for other catagories.
And lastly, a question about this outfit that I made recently.

Again, I apologize for all my questions.
