Hey, sweeties!
How are you doing?
I've made a video to cheer you up in your self-isolation :)

Which substyle would you change to?

If I should choose another style than classic, I would choose punk. I can still wear regimental stripes, I still can wear plaids, and I can even wear more plaids. But I think a pure punk lolita wardrobe is kind of a expert move. So I would choose to combine with a gothic mainpiece or two. Read the rest )

REVIEW
My wardrobe changed, morphed, and grew a LOT this year, MOST of the small pieces and accessories I've had for years, but due to my wedding this past October I had to liquidate a lot of my dresses, but at the same time a lot of whats currently in my wardrobe was also aquired just this year, either from Katsucon earlier that year, on my honeymoon with my wife or at christmas. ^_^

For the comming year I want to work on expanding my collection of prints and matching accessories. My wardrobe is a lot of black and I want to start including more purple, lavender, and pink.

My wardrobe isn't very big, but I'm very proud of it.

How many of you subscribe to kawaii box? Do you generally like their stuff? Are there other subscription services you'd recommend? Would you be interested in a monthly lolita loot box? What about only quarterly? I'm in business mode!

My friend Tomoe and I started our own YouTube Channel!!!

And while its still in its fledgling days I wanted to share with you our first two videos! The first video, with all its trial and error is our coverage of the 2nd Seasonal Harajuku Fashion Walk in Baltimore. And the second video, without any talking, is just the J-Fashion styles at the National Cherry Blossom Festival in DC.

Coming soon to a YouTube Channel near you, in seperate videos we'll have the Cosplay of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, General Festival coverage, and then my trip to my first Friladelphia meet up the Philly Cherry Blossom Hanami.

Thanks so much for watching! I'd love to hear some tips and tricks for running a Lolita YouTube channel.

Hello!
Are you a Lolita from Vancouver, British Columbia? Have you been struggling to find an active Lolita community in your area? Well you're in luck! "Sugar Sweet" is a new Lolita community in Vancouver!
It's a welcoming group for all fans of the fashion whether you are new to Lolita or have loved it for a long time.

You can find the community facebook here:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sugar-Sweet-Lolita-Fashion-of-Vancouver/1596967213874114

And our tumblr here:

http://sugarsweetvancouver.tumblr.com/

If we get over at least 6 people, that could be enough to even host meet-ups and other awesome Lolita activities!

Right now we're aiming to go to Richmond's Aberdeen mall for our first meet-up but that can only happen if you guys join! Bringing friends or anyone who loves the fashion is definitely encouraged!

I really hope that there are enough of you in Vancouver that we can have this fun group and I look forward to meeting any of you who want to join > w <

Can't wait to meet you!

Hi everyone! It’s time to talk stock photos. We all love seeing them with new releases, but sometimes they aren’t flattering to the dress or very accurate to what the dress actually looks like in person. So we’re calling on you to help us create a thread full of better, more accurate photos of dresses that have stock photos that just don’t do them justice. You can post detail shots, full photos, or comparison photos of your dress vs. the stock photo, and more. Please feel free to also discuss stock photos as a general lolita topic! You can also request photos of dresses as well! We’d love to hear what you have to say and see your beautiful dresses as they were meant to be seen.

For the longest time, the EGL community here on Livejournal was the main community hub for the international lolita community, having been around since the early days of the fashion’s first ventures outside Japan, when many admirers of the fashion were still not very sure of what was and wasn’t lolita. The EGL community has been a cornerstone in the development of lolita fashion and is one of the most complete sources for any sort of information regarding lolita. Here we have the Lolita Handbook, arguably the most definitive English text available to all newcomers of the fashion to get a primer on the fashion before diving in. Along with the Lolita Handbook we also have the EGL Memories, where the most memorable and informative posts are stored for anyone to access. I’m sure many lolitas remember when they first came across EGL and spent their afternoons reading the Handbook, combing through the Memories, and endlessly lurking on the community before finally participating as full-fledged member.

So I was wondering if there may be any little active communties near me - especially in the England, East Midlands area?
I've tried looking around but I thought it would be worth a try asking here.

I was a member of two on facebook recently, but for some sudden, unexplained reason, I appear to have been blocked from them out of the blue - I feel extremely confused since I haven't done anything wrong or anything for that matter. But seeing as I can't do anything about it, I'm shrugging my shoulders and looking for someplace else. After all, they probably weren't worth it.

I've still got my own facebook group that I made before I found the two I used to be in, but it's still in it's new stage, so not really much help to me on my own.
I'm just hoping to make some new lolita friends in my area as I'm starting out in this fashion, and it would be nice to be able to meet up and socialise once in a while. ^_^

Any ideas, anyone?

Hi everybody! I was looking through my GLB scans collection and I stumbled upon this dress and fell in love. I can't read Japanese, so I wasn't able to find out anything about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any help! Also, I've put together a collection of some amazing photos I found too. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
