Sorry to have two posts about Ling Lam in a row but I'm really interested.

Does Ling Lam do custom sizing? Like, in larger sizes? I wear a Euro 43.5...yeah...big. But do you think I could get any of the shoes made in that size? Is there an extra fee for making them bigger? Would I have to do a group order for them to be made in that size?
Any help would be wonderful ^___^

Just an interesting little PV from one of my favourite korean bands that I'ld like to share, it has alot of Lolita/Alice in Wonderland elements in...(Though the band itself is rather retro/rock)

It's a very nice song too :3

I tried to do some research on the rocking horse shoes men's style, with no success? I'm trying to find a pair of these shoes, and I don't care what color they come in. Does anyone know where I could get a pair of these, being that the girl that was selling these on the forum is no longer taking anymore orders?

Or if anyone could tell me where I could get a pair of ballerina rocking horse shoes (which the ribbon can be removed) in a woman's size 12?

Any help or information is greatly appreciated. ^___^;;

Hi2u. Plays halp.

Even though it's a couple of months away, I'm pretty anxious for Halloween right now. So. I want to be something original but not like an obscure character that Joe shmo can't recognize.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, mostly because I don't celebrate anything else. Also because my parents never really let me have a decent costume. For years I've been wearing some black dress and a witch hat, LOL IM A WITCH.

If worst comes to worst I'm just going to buy some dress like this and put on a witch hat.

Anyone else? Any ideas for a loli halloweeeeen?

This Saturday I popped on over to Otakon. Somehow I managed to miss the Nana Kitade lolita fashion show (I was helping run the go panel), the egl panel (they changed the time on me), and the 11:30 tea party (I thought it was at 11:00). But! Long story short, I made it to the Jfashion panel and snapped a few pics of the lolita models. And then somewhere along the way, I was ambushed by a gorilla.

So guys I was wondering if anyone know of any sites or people who sell mini crowns. I've been all over the internet this morning trying to find one and the most I found was one white one on ebay >_<.

After being pointed to the memories (sorry I forgot to check) I'm still looking for places in Taipei. Does anyone know of any? I've heard of some lolita shopping district there... Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Otakon 2006 was a great place for lolitas this year with two panels, a fashion contest, two teaparties, and Baby and Bodyline being sold at the Dealer's Room.

Otakon 2006 was a great year for me as a lolita because I met the editor-in-chief of the Gothic&Lolita Bible and Kera, Mr. Naoki Matsumura. He took my picture and asked me various questions about why I wear lolita and how I feel in lolita. He also asked me a lot of the street snap questions, like what brand I was wearing (I was wearing this :O), how old I am, where I'm from. I don't think I'll be in either magazine as the picture was taken with a digital camera but I do feel as if it's worth mentioning here.

I'm not just being a braggart jerk, though, because I think the fact that Mr. Matsumura was at Otakon scoping out the lolita scene is a very good thing. This may mean good things for the American lolita scene if the editor-in-chief of our bible is seeing there's a market for lolita in the United States.

That tidbit having been shared, onto pictures of lolitas at Otakon!

I hosted a teaparty on Sunday. It was very low-key but we got our picture taken by Travel & Leisure Family Magazine. Don't ask me why! The photographer particularly liked redheads, apparently. o.O

Hello everyone!

It's going to be my closest friend's birthday about three weeks, and I really would like to do something nice for her and get her a present.

She has the most wonderful personality, she doesn't care about brand names and looks at everything in a positive light, and I want to get her something special as a present to say 'thank you' for years of friendship. She's quite interested in lolita, but doesn't have very many pieces right now. I would like to get her a brand skirt just to give her a head start in lolita.

Anyways, onto my question: How much do Metamorphose's fully elasticated skirts stretch in the waist? Amanda has about a 33"-34.5" inch waist, and I know that a half elasticated waisted skirt probably would fit her, but would get to be uncomfortable over time. She has a 44"  inch hip and bust measurement, but I know that she could probably get the skirt on over her head with no real problems.

If anyone has a fully elasticated waisted Metamorphose skirt, could they tell me how much they stretch up to?

Thank you so much, this means a lot to me.

When I was first learning to sew I did that project everyone does, PJ's! I found the most adorable candy striped flanel, a mixture of pink and green, and used that for the pants and accents on the top. Years went by, and the PJ's were rarely worn due to being too short in the leg and waaay too big in the top.

Then! Just this year, I found them in my drawer and realized the pants would make THE perfect bloomers! They have undergone the transformation, but alas now I have no idea how to re-design the top.

This is where you lovely ladies come in! Please help me come up with a new design for the top!

Hello all!

I just have a quick question:
Are there any lolitas in North Carolina? Mainly in the Chapel Hill/RTP area?

Also, another quick questions:
(So maybe it's two questions ^.^)
Are there any communities for NC Lolitas on LJ? The only one that I could find was the one that is shown in the FAQ of this community and it's kinda dead...

Thanks!

I have just gotten my Montreal shoes, so I'm doing a little review for them. As far as I know, this is the first one for shoes OTHER than the AP replica boots? XD

I've seperated my review into 4 parts- fit, comfort, service, and the pictures.

Hello, I'm sorry to bother you, and I'm not sure if this is allowed here..

But; I'm dying to purchase this > http://ses.s-inc.com/shop/product_info.php/products_id/9846 <, but i have no idea how.

I've looked through the memories and read about people who shop for you and whatnot, but I'm wondering if there is anyone who knows the basics of ordering from that website and if they ship to the UK. Or just any tips in general to do with that site.

If this isn't allowed then feel free to delete.

Thank you for your time,
Cassidy. ♥ x

Just a reminder to everyone, Nana Kitade will be performing tomorrow at the Virgin Megastore in Boston at 7.00p!! After her set, she'll be signing copies of her new CD -18-eighteen, which will be available for purchase at the event. If you missed her at Otakon, don't miss this chance to meet Japan's sweetest Pop Princess!

(If you missed her signing as well, my managers and I are very confident that she'll get everyone a signature and a moment to talk to Nana. This is a great opportunity!)

For more information, please leave a comment or e-mail me -- jaimie_graham(at)emerson(dot)edu! I will be there, and I hope to see so many of you! Please drop by and say hi!

P.S. It was awesome meeting everyone at Otakon!! I hope you all enjoyed the Nana Kitade Fashion Face-Off!

P.P.S. In order to avoid making a separate post, I am now desperate to buy Nana's BTSSB Bunny Backpack in Pink or Black. If you have one and are looking to sell it, please contact me. Otherwise, if anyone is making a BTSSB group order, I WILL GLADLY jump onto it.

NY lolitas

Hey everyone. Im new to this community. I was wondering if there are any Lolita in central NY? Id like to have a picnic or just a meet up and hang out with others and make friends but its so rural where I live! T_T Id like to meet people who live here and adore lolita or even visual clothing!

Rin ^^

Ah, sorry to post twice so close together, but I have a LOT of questions and comments I have to get off my chest.

Again, it was awesome to meet everyone at Otakon. I had a ton of fun at Nana Kitade's fashion show, and I appreciated everyone's compliments for my outfit. I was really flattered to be one of the finalists and just getting to walk in front of all of those celebrity judges was a huge honor in itself! O_O (I was wearing the blue Metamorphose skirt with the Alice in Wonderland theme.)

I have some questions about washing things. Obviously, my two Metamorphose skirts have to go to the dry cleaners for cleaning after this weekend, but what about Metamorphose Lucky-Pack bloomers and my Sweets tote? Are either safe to be machine washed on a really gentle cycle?

Next, to be a little repetative, is anyone currently organizing a BABY THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT group order? I really want to order something but I really want to split s&h costs. Were I not so busy with work and getting ready for surgery, I'd do it myself...

Finally, in order to organize some Boston area meetups, I'm thinking of starting a mailing list for all of us Boston lolitas -- this includes all of us who live in Boston for college. A mailing list will help to organize casual shopping trips at the Pru with 3-4 of us all the way up to a full-on tea party at Boston Common. If you are interested, please either e-mail me (jaimie_graham(at)emerson(dot)edu!) or leave a comment here.

THANK YOU EGL!! :3
