Hello everyone! :) I would just like to inform all of you that I have just finished the first issue of my Lolita e-zine, and I would like all of you out there to view it and submit feedback to me if at all possible.

oh wow. maybe for the next issue you should save the zine in PDF format so that nothing comes out grainy. but then again, i'm not sure what exactly you made this on... MS paint?

You should get someone to proofread for you. There were tons of spelling and typing errors (such as "day-ly" and "posesss" etc) It does need a more professional look, something that doesn't look like it was written in MS paint. I suggest saving as a .png as well, the quality is better.

Hi ^__^. First I'd like to tell you, thanks for taking the time to put an e-zine together, that made me so giddy. =^^=

I think you should have fellow lolis work with you :3. Don't put things together with MS Paint, as it looks very unprofessional . .;;. There are a lot of spelling and grammatical errors, and the pictures are just kind of... all over the place. The decorations of each page are a bit off, too, like how the "Lolita DIY" just has a bunch of squiggles for the side. .__. You should gather up some loli friends and put each in charge of things like decorations [think Lolita- bows and frills ^___^], editing, html [I think that's what it's called? The website-making stuff? ^^;;], etc. It's more fun this way anyhow =^__^=. It'd be nice make off-page links to each page, too.

And as others have said... don't save on jpeg ^__^.

Okay start though! ^_^ By the way, I don't think "Your Mother Wouldn't Like it" is in business anymore, so make sure your stuff are up-to-date as well =^^=.

Wow, weird. Just so you don't think I copied you, I'm also working on a webzine for this fall and we have some VERY similar topics o.o;

I have to commend you for having the dedication to put this up, and all on your own as well! Sure it could use a little improvement, but putting up a zine is NOT easy! (If it were, mine would have been up months ago! Heh! *SWEATBEAD*)

It was pretty good though one thing confused me, I don't remember Count Cain being the name of the manga. I've been collecting the japanese for a few years now and it says "ゴッドチャイルド”God child. http://kikiwai.com/images/manga/god_child.jpg

Thanks for commenting, everyone. Well, I was working on it for a few months, and I kept putting it off, so I was in a bit of a hurry to finish it before I forgot about it (that's how I am unfortunately). However, I am just experimenting with variouse things to see which one is easiast. I am planning to go html for the second issue, since that seems easy for me, and not too much of a hassle. But, due to the large time consumption of producing an e-zine, I need to go now and start the 2nd winter issue. Please send me any info that you think I should use in the next issue. But I saw MANY misspellings of words. It may have been best to spell check it first especially since you want it to be an e-zine, not just a quick how-to.

I really enjoyed reading your ezine!
I have a suggestion if youd like to hear it:
I think you should run contests to choose lolita cover art by local artists here on egl. You could have a theme (like a certain loli style or substyle, or character like you did for this issue) and have people draw them. I just think it would help bring some more of the egl comunity together and get them excited to see their art on the cover of the ezine.

heyy 2cent~ sorry for not being able to give you a hand (even though I volunteered to help)... my mom randomly signed me up for summer school last month so I had no time to help >__< ;
