Dear community,

I am posting to advertise a community created for fans of egl and ega fashion living in Maryland and closely neighboring areas, but not limited to just those regions. This community will hopefully help organize meet ups, parties, other social get togethers, and create new friendships. Everyone is welcome to join, stay and chat, and most of all enjoy themselves.

I've not drawn this character of mine in a looong time ... but I love her, and I think she turned out relatively cute (despite the AWFUL scan), so I'm sharing her with you. :3

1. I'm looking for Metamorphose jumpers with polka dots. I don't know the name of the collection they're from. It's a pretty simple description though. Either black with white polka dots or red with white polka dots.
And to save you time, as much as I lust for these two JSKs, I'm not willing to pay more than $150 for each including shipping to CA, USA.
My email is mabetDOTyonamineATgmailDOTcom if you'd like to contact me that way.

2. I would like to hear some answers and opinions to the following: A) Aesthetically speaking, do you prefer flat loli footwear or platformed? B) How about simple and generic or decorated and wildly eye-catching?
C) Please pick the shoe you think looks the best / like the most:

#2 http://www.electriqueboutique.com/shop/proddetail.asp?id=DOROTHY-HIGH

Thanks so much. All comments and input are appreciated.

Cut and paste. )

--- --- I'm sure this has been discussed before... if so, I apologize.
Since I'm really tall a lot of lolita dresses are too short for me, etc...Usually I make my own inspired-by or replica dresses. I really enjoy it, but sometimes I just don't have time to make it myself, and just want the dress!!

Can anyone recommend sellers or seamstresses who do a REALLY EXCELLENT job making replica lolita dresses, skirts and blouses? There are a ton of sellers on ebay, but so many people don't use photos of their own work, so it's really hard to tell what type of quality their work is. Seeing as I sew myself, I really wouldn't want to commission someone to make a dress for me unless it was _really_ WELL MADE. Otherwise I'd be disappointed. I don't mind paying for quality work, I would rather do that then pay a little for something that is poorly made.
Suggestions??

--- --- SHOES --- Also, does anyone know of any places that offer custom shoe making? I wanted to commission someone to make me a pair of Angelic Pretty like shoes, but the only place I've found so far only does 4 inch pumps or higher (no wedges or flats, and as I'm tall, I'd prefer a flat. It must be a place that can do size 11 (women's USA) or higher.

THankyou in advance!

lolis, i have a request.

i'm working on a paper where we have to compare and contrast two sets of five ads in different categories. i decided for my project i would compare and contrast EGL ads with American gothic fashion ads. i have a GL bible i can pull ads from, but i'm having a hard time finding any american gothic magazine ads.
if any of you have any useful links, please send them!

i feel this partains because it involves egl, but if not, *shrug*

Wow so many sale posts. :P

I was planning to post some stuff myself, but since there are so many up already I am going to do something else.

Last year before the New years I ran 3 raffles for picture submissions. There are also already plenty of art contests.

So to be a little different I am going to ask for lolita themed Valentines.

It can be a photo of a loli outfit with a Valentine greeting, or an art design. It doesn't need an outfit in the design to make it loli.

Be creative.

If you send me one Valentine through mail you will get a Valentine in return and also a small gift worth not too much from $1-$2.00.

This is just a fun way for me to interact with other lolitas. If you want to send me a Valentine email me for my address

I found this lovely 4 piece outfit on the Lane Bryant website, and I think it'd make a wonderful kodona look, but I may be wrong, what do you think??

Shirt
Vest
Pants
Jacket

Now, just to get the $300+ so I can have it all, cause I'd so wear it... I'd just need the right socks, shoes and a newsboy hat...

*sigh*
