Lolita art!
Feb. 6th, 2006 12:56 amI've not drawn this character of mine in a looong time ... but I love her, and I think she turned out relatively cute (despite the AWFUL scan), so I'm sharing her with you. :3

Click for a more detailed version, PhotoBucket wouldn't take the whole file!
I know that some may not say that she's strictly Lolita, but she is very, very much inspired by the style, which a more full-body shot would have shown better. I adore EGL and Ero-Loli styles ... she's normally in a more modest version of those in all white with touches of baby blue. Her twin brother in my comic that I'm putting together (who has been named "Rococo" since a good two or three years before I'd ever heard of the magazines, just after they came out! ^-^;;) wears a mix of kodona, dandy gothic and Victorian, all in black and blue. They're both far too much fun to draw for their (and my education's) own good! XD While I don't dress it myself (I prefer the western sort of 80s and cyber gothic), I think the whole doll look is just too beautiful to pass up on when drawing her in those clothes.
The heart thingy behind the butterfly over her hidden eye is a symbol that's either drawn or tattooed (I created her about 7 years ago and still haven't decided this!) on her face at all times, and I didn't want to leave it out ... just in case anyone wonders what it's doing there! ^^;;
In case anyone's interested, I'm selling the original~ £15 GB or thereabouts. Cheeky, I know. *^_^;*
