I have a question for all you fellow lolis. Has anyone here ever ordered from Baby, The Stars Shine Bright? I'm thinking of getting some stuff, but I'd like some input from other customers first. So, what is their service like? What about quality of craftsmanship? What kinds of material do they usually use? Also, how do you even make an order? I don't speak much Japanese and I can't seem to figure it out. ^^; Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a billion! ^_^

American Loli attitudes

Some american EGL girls, in real life, not online... tend to be *very rude*. Has any one else noticed this? They act like they're better than EVERYONE around them, and not in an 'I'm in character" way. It usually happens at concerts for me.... they'll be all dressed up, and if you say something nice about their costume, they treat you like scum, or think you've never heard of the fashion at all. How can Lolita's be mean?! ;_;

Since GL Bible scans seem to be coveted, I figured I oughta put in a link to my GLB scan page. So far only volumes 1 and 2 are up, but volume 3 is finished and volume 4 is close. (It's just a matter of me actually making the effort to set up the galleries. -_-;;) Here's the link:

I know a lot of you are against the fact that the Lola-Goth (as Hot Topic has coined the term) trend is surfacing in the states, and namely, Hot Topic. But I for one am ecstatic! No, the clothing is wretchedly made with cheap fabric and even cheaper labor... but I am all giddy because I found this!



You can't see it very well (it's taken off the Hot Topic website, I'll take pics of the actual shirt I got when I'm not feeling too lazy). It's an adorable EGL girl all done up! The cutest f-ing thing I've ever found at Hot Topic!

What I want to know is, where do I wear the wonderful outfits I make? I'm dying to show off somewhere, but I'm on summer break from school, and it's quite warm now.

Ahhh...hi all ^^;;;; I bet I'm pretty famous by now after that comic-of-anger that Jaime posted up for me...but seeing how many of the nice people I recognise from Black_Lolita and how everyone in the community seems to be a true Loli, I thought I'd like to join.

So! My name's Ravena, I like too many J-rock bands to count, and the one thing that bothers me is when people indicate that they should be "Lolier Than Anyone Else" just because they know a lot about the fashion. T_T Ai ai, I wouldn't invite someone like that to one of my teaparties...

I'm going to work on a set of icons declaring "Lolier Than Thou." Anyone want one? Just let me know!

Hey! I just joined and I am semi new to Gothic Lolita...I never sewn a dress before and I am wondering if any of you can help me out on how to sew one and design. I know the basic knowledge of a sewing machine =D so I hope that will be enough... Any help will be much appericated ^-^

Well im not sure if you guys have heard this. I mean you have if your on the black lolita message board, but theres a girl there claiming that hottopic or rather FINE spcifically have ripped off her design on the lola-goth t-shirts. Allegedly she has a art piece/clothing with the design called "loligoth" and its pretty much the same thing just a different color and what not. I mean when i heard it I was like OMG im never gonna buy those t-shirts but im just wondering what you guys thought. If what she claims is truth im not going to buy them from hottopic outta sheer respect.
