Nite Shoot

The same day as the plaid shoot kaoru_ai and I did we also did a nite shoot. We used a similar concept to another shoot Eron and I did once. Timed exposure with him running around with a tinted flash. Nothing has been photoshopped. I find it kind of cool every picture is one exposure. Apparently it was a little more difficult with two people to shoot but it still came out awesome imo.

I have a school project over Japanese fashion due soon and I chose to base the majority of it on EGL. I don't know what exactly I want to focus on with EGL however, which areas to cover more so than others, does anyone have any suggestions? I would also appreciate links or something to good quality photos of EGL, my friend ran off with my EGL bibles that I was going to scan in and bring but I can't do that anymore being they are out of state now. Any ideas or suggestions? Any help would be appreciated, thankyou.

Closet-Child Help?

I'm ordering for my birthday from there, and I'm ready to pounce on this lovely MMM dress but the sizing is confusing me. It's only a small technicality.

Here it says (put through a translator and numbers divided by 2.4) that the "body width" (which I took as the waist measurement) goes up to 16.25 inches. Am I correct in guessing that this measurement was taken flat and it can be adjusted up to 32.5" around?

(This might be a stupid question... I mean, I know that Moi-meme-Moitie runs rather small but come on. O_O)

I'm excited about my first real loli item and I just don't want to make a mistake. :l This is my first time dealing with any international orders ever. (Thank god I don't have to go through a shopping service for my first, eh?)

So I just got back from a day of shopping in Harajuku and it was pretty kick-ass. I found myself thinking that I wish I knew some English-speaking Lolis in the area, though. Would anyone be interested in a LJ community for English-speaking Lolitas living in Japan? I'd really love to be able to coordinate a meet-up sometime.

Also, is it there any way to update the current Tokyo shopping guide? It's still very useful (I used it to day for my shopping), but there's been a couple of changes since then (the opening of Innocet World stores in Shinjuku and Harajuku, the opening of a Bodyline store on Takeshita Doori, an Alice and the Pirates store in LaForet Harajuku...) I was lucky enough to run into these on my own, but I'd like other people to know as well.

hello there, a friend of mine is in japan right and offered to pick me up something, he is intreed by the idea of Lolita shop hunting and buying stuff for me (lucky me!!!) I've been to japan a few times myself and can give him some info by memory, i've also looked at the Sumire shopping guid and been able to figure out the laforet website to find which stores are in the b1.5 level.
but i'm wondering about shinjuku. i remember that when i was there i always went to MaruiOne building, but i heard that it closed down and the stores all moved? is that right?
is there any guids or any body who can give me info on where baby and MMM and those stores went? I'm trying to figure out the brand websites, but my very limited japanese and babelfish can only go so far...

any help would rock very hard.
