hello, I would like to invite all Singaporean lolitas and artistocrats to a tea party. As I am aware of everyone's busy schedules, please take the time to fill up this short poll so that this event can be enjoyed by everyone.

Rules of meetup
1. Please be polite. Our clothes make us stand out from the crowd, and it is very unsightly to see anyone - lolita or not, misbehave.
2. This is a Lolita and Aristocrat meetup. I will not accept people in a tank top, frilly skirt to pass off as lolita. Nor will I accept anyone in jeans, shirt and jacket as kodona. If you come and insist on your presence I will post your pictures on lolita_fucks.
3. On the other hand, we welcome photographers (but please tell me beforehand). If you would like a picture yourself, please bring your own camera, film, battery etc.

Yep, that's why I started a poll. It gives me enough time to do bookings and reservations for restuarents or places. I was thinking botanic gardens because next door is Tyersall Ave/Minden Road - a really beautifully wellkept woodland next to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It also has a redbrick chapel. Plus, it's fairly acessible (all the bustops!)

The place really depends on how much people are willing to pay ^^

I suppose Esplanade Park would be another alternative. It's an underused place for photoshoots anyway (I wonder why. War memorial jeebies perhaps?)

Nope, I take S lit. I don't think there's a gothic lit paper.....s lit is kinda you get to pick your own books and write a thesis on that and stuff ^^;;

I actually got into it about three years ago but I took a break in between and came back to it this year. That's because I did not have a sewing machine to myself previously, but now *pats sewing machine* my trusty little machine makes my lolita wardrobe (or lack of currently, eep)

*raises hand* I've only been at it for about a year (this is my second year). Honestly though, don't be intimidated by sgcafe people. They're just normal people who make mistakes as well.

And no, I don't think anyone's done a large gathering before. Most of the photoshoots I've seen are just their own cliques. That's why I set this up really, so everyone can get to know each other in a comfortable way.

ah yes, I considered that. It'll problably start around 2.30pm, so that we'll have tea while the sun is the hottest, then have a photoshoot from late afternoon when it's not so hot.

*coughs* just another person who's been to thevtearoom, it used to be nice until the managment level got switched to another person and most of the waiters and waitresses were also switched. It used to be nice but now it's terrible, I don't know why people still goes there. ^^;
