Hmmm....this is a sort of information post, possibly of some help to anyone who want to navigate taobao on their own, or want to have a bit more control over the whole agent/shopping service experience..?

Anyway, I've recently asked around Taobao sellers and here's a list (possibly growing) of shops that said they can handle some english, do international shipping, and even a very small number that takes paypal.

Details under the cut )

Hi everyone!

Quick question; i know pretty much every brand by it's japanese name, except for Alice and the Pirates, and I just can't seem to find it! Anyone who does know the name?

I really like the white version of this hat on Innocent World, but I'm low on money and don't want to spend half of it on a hat. Do any of you know where I can buy a similar looking hat for a lesser price?

Hello!

I'm very new to loli, and currently only have one item for it. I'm hoping to get into it, however, though I feel I will probably have to make my own because I'm definitely a larger size.

What I would like to know at this point is fabric and patterns. Are the more toned down colors acceptable? I like the motifs of animals, or tea-related things. So fabric samples like the following:

http://www.fabric.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=2cb5742a-c51f-4090-8861-54f7b742b8d8
http://www.fabric.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=466be7f9-86e1-4ea9-bff4-16ae5e039e9b

are what I end up being attracted to. I do like the bright colors as well, so I know I can find patterns with them, but it's these more toned, greyish, or sepia stuff that I'm wondering about.

Thanks!

ETA:
This may sound like a dumb question, but does it have to have lace on it? I mean, can I make a skirt with no lace, but otherwise keep to the style? I'm not sure how I feel about lace just yet.

This is what I like about Christmas, and every other holiday, you can make themed jewellery :D
Christmas <3... And a little image heavy )
Well the first ones are very simple to make, but what do you ladies think of the other ones?

So as we know, the brands seem to be lacking originality as of late. What I have noticed mosty is, the stuffed animal thing. I am a much newer lolita and I am not one of those people who say,'I have been stalking it for a year and I am finally posting' because i havent been stalking it only reently...therefore, I have no idea where this idea started. I just remember first seeing AP's bunny shortly after Lamb Garden was released. And I thought, 'weird' that was definately not me...
I have been noticing that more brands have been doing it. Like Baby recently came out with a black bunny with blue eyes, then Meta came out with stuffed animal earmuffs. So like most of us(kinda) have established, the brands come out with what sells. So I just had to know, is it just me or are you guys also avoiding the bunny bandwagon(may or may not be spelled right or be the right word, hopefully you know what i mean^^)??

...Does anyone here owns one of the Angelic Pretty rider jackets and how do you coordinate it with your Lolita clothing? Or do you only wear it with more casual clothing styles?
Do you have a picture of yourself wearing it?
I really like the Melty chocolate one on Mbok but I don't know how to coordinate it with something other than melty chocolate without making it look ita.
Thanks in advance if you reply :)
