Photoshoot: Memorial Cake

Since I got into lolita fashion in 2008, I've always wanted to do a lolita photoshoot! It always sounded amazing, but I didn't know where to start and there were always complications.
I got into cosplay in 2010 and from there, I got to know photographers that I work with, a photographer that I've worked with frequently is Icie and recently, I asked Icie what he thought of doing a lolita shoot, and this is the outcome *u*


Unrelated but a cosplay shoot that I've done with Icie before, so I was excited to work with him with a lolita shoot for the first time *U*

Anyway, onwards with the photos!






















Definitely my favourite photo of the day *_*! It was the idea of getting Usakumya out of the "magical" toy box! It's amazing ;u;!


I love this shot a lot too *_*! It shows the beauty of the location ahhhh loved the location that Icie chose hardcore, it was gorgeous *_*!





So many dead stuffed animals in the location lol;; It was gorgeous though *_* So many vintage things too!
After this experience, I think lolita modelling is a lot different to cosplay shooting. It's a lot harder than cosplay I reckon, as in cosplay - I enjoy re-imaging scenes from the anime/manga/video game or doing poses from fanart. Lolita is a lot different, we had to find a concept, in which I chose "gluttony" as Memorial Cake is a food print. We worked around that concept but in the end, it was more of a travelling/imagination/wonderland scenery~

Also please please please don't take photos and post on tumblr/elsewhere. Even if crediting this post, I still won't allow it. A lot of time and effort was put into creating these photos and I will post them to places myself. Thanks!
