This is kinda related to mesasophia's post earlier about giving the appearance of having lighter skin, but instead of using makeup to put a white layer over my skin, I'd rather just have lighter skin in general and not deal with like powders and such.

Basically, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good skin whitening/lightening product? I know there are tons of products, especially in Asia, but I also know that a lot of them don't work and it's hard to just test one out when they cost so much. I've tried the Shiseido and Swiss line skin whitening lines and they both didn't work. And I need a product that specifically whitens all skin that it comes in contact with, rather than just dark spots and abnormal pigmentation. The only product that I read great reviews on in terms of lighting overall pigmentation cost like $100 USD per mini-vial and that was too much for my budget.

I used to go on goth pages which had different home-made skin lightening recipes, but I tried a couple and they didn't work. I also wouldn't know if the ingredients in the home-made batches are actually safe for the skin both immediately and in the long run.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Blouse pattern

Okay, so. I've sort of learned to sew. With patterns, at least. However, I can't seem to find a good pattern in my size (I'm a 14-16 top, 18 bottom in store sizes) of a blouse with a peter pan collar...
Heck, I can't find -any- blouse patterns with that kind of collar. Anyone know of any? I'll love and adore you forever if you tell me ^_^

So i was at target today and i browsed through their 1.00 deparment, there near the entrance and was so excited at what i found! a whole slew of loli-able accsessories.plaid headbands and fun matching totes as well s crown totes. and these supercute crown socks. and sweet smell lotions with pretty crows. and for only a 1.00! I hope its not old news ><
