Blouse pattern
Sep. 18th, 2003 10:55 pmOkay, so. I've sort of learned to sew. With patterns, at least. However, I can't seem to find a good pattern in my size (I'm a 14-16 top, 18 bottom in store sizes) of a blouse with a peter pan collar...
Heck, I can't find -any- blouse patterns with that kind of collar. Anyone know of any? I'll love and adore you forever if you tell me ^_^

Date: 2003-09-19 12:11 pm (UTC)You can just modify an existing collar, but you'll need to make many of them larger on the outside before you can round it off. The problem with doing this though is that most collars are somewhat standing, and peter pan collars are generally flat. You can have a half-roll peter pan, but play with mockups in muslin or cheap cotton to get the right shape before you cut your real fabric or permanently attatch anything to the shirt.
