urgh, I so hate living in england. I want a egl outfit for folk week next week and my mother absolutly refuses to buy me anything off the net becuase 1. She doesn't trust it. 2. It costs a bloody fortune to ship over and we have to pay export tax 3. Becuase she doesn't like the way I dress. And i can't sew either

Has anyone got any tips of where to look for cheap stuff?

This top was at the Bebe stor ein the mall today, but they'd taken the neck tie and crossed it in front of the neck, and tied behind. Very punki-loli. Especially with a little black pleated skirt. drool. It's pricey though...but I'm looking for the sales. There was actually quite a bit of loli stuff around today, and Claires is carrying stripey arm warmers and fun gloves too.

I was flipping through my pattern box of patterns that my grandmother had loaned me and almost fell over when I noticed this vintage patternin my possession. Could A or B be much more EGL? But OF COURSE the pattern isn't in my size. Sigh...

hey there, I just noticed that that controversial dress that [profile] userleatherkngs posted the other day from Hot Topic looks like the one that I bought a month or so back at Marshals (sp?) for something like $26.00: http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/bc/selenesian/vwp?.dir=/My+Photos&.src=ph&.dnm=DSC00324.jpg&.view=t&.done=http%3a//f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/bc/selenesian/lst%3f%26.dir=/My%2bPhotos%26.src=ph%26.view=t

I added the red straps and recently some eyelet to the top portion. The bottom of the dress looks just like the one in her photo too with a thin layer of tulle. I wore an apron with it and the bonnet to add some EGL effects.

This is the freshly-finished EGA trained bustle skirt that I mentioned before that I had in production. The finished example. This is made with a heavyweight fabric with a nice drape, so it's not going to be crisp so much as flowy. If you're using this kind of flowy fabric, this is about as much bustle as you can get without underpinnings. here )

If you want to do that kind of bustling, I'll be posting up a little how-to on that kind of bustling and more prominent types also. Photoshopped tutorial, yes, but a tutorial nonetheless.

I know this is kinda rude but...

Does anyone have a spare LJ code? My friend *loves* EGL and I'm sure she'd join this community if she could get a journal on here. She's really nice too ^^ (I love her art!)

If you have one that you're willing to give, please comment and I'll give you my e-mail addy! Thank you ahead of time!
