Design contest results

Just over two weeks ago I posted a kodona/ega design contest here. The winner would be awarded funds for executing their desgin. However due to the overwhelmingly large...... lack of entries I decided not to announce an official winner. With only two contestants and three designs it is not much of a contest.
However I will share the three entries i have recieved.


The firs two are from cari_therage. She decided to go from a normal lolita design and then turn it into Kodona.




And the other entry was from basje. I like the simple design and the black & purple combination.



I think it is a pity that only so few of you entered my little contest. Could have been a nice challenge for the designers and a great source of clothing for me.....

It's beautifull in simplicity. :) And I really like the purple waistcoat on the black shirt and the trousers. I also really like the little detail on the bottom trouserlegs and the poufy shoulders on the sleeves.

(I might grant you the commision after all)

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I like my designs simple and with clear lines over boatloads of lace and frills ^^ And getting the commish would be great, but take your time deciding because I'm reaaaally busy right now anyway ^^

Actually the only reason I didn't enter the contest was because while I can design the clothing, I have no way of creating them. u_u I am still a novice at sewing and since the contest was for making clothing for you I couldn't participate. If you'd just like a design to have someone else make I could do that for you. ; ; Sorry~

But I like the last design - it's really adorable. :3

Agreed. Although the contest was a nice idea, it did mean that only those who could also sew the design they made for you would be any use to you.

I also agree. That's why I didn't enter. I don't do sewing commisions, I barely have time to sketch out a design never mind sew an outfit!

Next time I'll do this kind of things I'll be more clear that it is no problem to team up. Or just enter a design that can be made by someone else. (need to think of a way to split the 'prize' then).

I am already into negotiations with Basje to get her design executed. But showing of concepts and ideas on this comm for the enjoyment of us all is always ok. (you might get someone else to commision you) And I just love art and other eye-candy.
