After about a month of work, staying in contact with Ayako and getting all of the order details sorted out, this Baby group order has finally reached the states. This was my first time being involved in a group order and my first time leading one; but I think things went pretty smoothly. I certainly learned a few things about the do's and don't's of group orders. As promised to those involved in the order, I am posting several images of the items.

To those involved in the order - I did send out an e-mail saying that the order had arrived and asking about shipping. I haven't had a chance to pop down to the post office and check shipping rates, but I will do that as soon as I can. I'm a bit unsure of how to ship the 2 parasols; but I plan on just asking the post office what would be best.

Finally, onto the pictures:

The gigantic box that everything came in, it was just under 5' long.

After finally getting the box open this was the sight that greeted my eyes.

The free gift that came with the order

Inside the free gift

2 parasols, 1 pair of socks, 1 headdress, 1 ring, 1 bathing suit, and 2 totes

The first JSK

And last but not least, my JSK, which this image does little justice too. It's absolutely beautiful and I love it and can't wait to wear it!

Hope everyone enjoyed the pictures!

do you have a ups store in your city? they can custom package items for you. I woulden't mind paying for it, becuase I've had horriable luck with poster tubes. everyone I've ever gotten has come shmashed.

or just mail it in the box you got from japan with lots of newpaper or plastic grocery bags as padding. IDK I just doing really like the poster tube idea, its makes me cringe. and i will cry so hard if it get broken. I'll pay extra, what ever

i would rather wait then have it broken. or, like i send, send it in the box it came in if you don't mind giving it up. yeah it'll weigh tmroe but I'll feel alot better.

I have that JSK in pink, it's so long!

I love that print so much though (I have the skirt in blue too).

I wanted the other JSK but it's soooo unflattering.

Such a small group order!

Oh, really? I have that JSK in two colours 'cause I loved how it looked a lot. And now I'm bidding on a similar style in plaid.

The other JSK is lovely, but it does look a bit long.

What JSK?

The one of the other print with the tulle bottom? I think it makes people look crazy boxy. I want it bad but the shape!

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were talking about the red one in the post. But yesh, I didn't care too much for the other JSK of that print.

oh no, I just found that one incredibly short! mid thigh length when everything else on my is knee length. O_o otherwise it's great for larger loli's! (roomy on me too)

for shipping parasols, most UPS stores carry long tubes for shipping; they're kind of pricy, but if you want the parasols shipped safely, they're your best bet.

everything is so lovely! especially the free gift!

I agree with the long tube thing. They can easily get bent if not shipped carefully. *glares at Meta parasol*

But everything is lovely (I have the white aatp parasol *love*), specially your JSK and the gift! I want one so bad!

take them with you when you go ^_^ they should be able to fit if you slide the parasols in on a mild diagonal.

They wont fit in the long tubes -- I've tried but the handles are always too big. >.

I have a question - for Baby the parasols do not ship seperately? I thought/know they do for IW... If they don't and you can order parasols in group order maybe I'll look for one :)

Hey there, i just wanted to give you a little hint out sending parasols. What i do is a take a large box or some card board ( i live in an apartment so there are always some around) and i cut it (which means you make your own box) to the size of the parasol and pad the box with what ever is at hand.

It cost about 7usd to ship priority with tracking.

I comepleatly understand -- you should have seen me the 1st time i needed to send one i walked to the post office with one of my parasols that was the same size as the one i needed to send and i was trying to shove it into their largest shipping tube -- needless to say it didn't work (and as i've found out later it would have costed more to ship anyway because of it's round shape and length).

Also another thing to worry about it making sure your box is less than 34 inchs long other wise there are even more shipping fees that are inculded. >.

If you want to send it "boxed" instead of using a round mailing tube, consider one of the free triangular tubes provided by USPS. I don't know if your post office has any in stock, but you can inquire there how to get one. I know my post office no longer stocks unusual sized boxes and tell you to order it off the website.

FedEx uses the same triangular tube as USPS, which is how I shipped the parasol from my group order. There was just enough room for me to stuff a blouse on one end, which I kind of thought acted like stuffing/padding...for one end anyway. ^^;

If the latter services have one of these triangular tube boxes, UPS might also have one...
