Has anyone had luck with French Toast blouses as a basic piece? Specifically, what do you think of this one?

I'm thinking of getting it and adding just a little black or white lace trim on the edges of the collar and both sides of...err...button strip. Promising?

I wear that shirt to work and under JSK all the time. The only bad side is because I have to get the plus size for my bust the sleeves are a little too puffy.

How did you measure your bust line? I checked the sizing charts but as they are for young girls I don't know how that translates boob-wise. I ended up getting the regular youth 18 and I'm a 34C >__> But I wear youth L or XL all the time, so...

You just measure you chest normally and use the size chart. http://frenchtoast.com/shopping/product/girlssizechart.jsp
Put the tape measure around the largest part of your chest and there is your bust measurement.

I have that in long sleeves. What the redninjawinz said is true, the sleeves are a bit too puffy, but otherwise it's a *perfect* lolita blouse.

yeah I bought one in the jrs. size 7/9 once...um I almost drowned in it, is was MASSIVE. it looked like a tent. like everyone else said the sleeves were huge......it was quite funny now that I look back on it. now I know that I do NOT wear a size 7/9 jr. in blouses XDDD

i've seen one in stores, and it's a little see-thu, so you might want to wear a sleeveless shirt or tank under it

I bought clothes from there before I discovered EGL; since most of us have to go with the plus sized clothing, sometimes things don't look exactly right and need to be altered a bit. But it's really a small price to pay for having basic pieces available for so little money.
