Aug. 24th, 2006 09:52 pmI have some questions...
are the stores in Japan really small? Or that small? (i saw some on the internet that looked small mostly botiques though)
How tall do you have to be to wear most lolita clothings ?
And are the Viviene Westwood many stores sell authentic ? Or replica ?
thank you...

A Westwood Orb necklace should run you around US$300 (more or less). Some are around $250. The sparkly diamond/gold ones go up to nearly $1000.
Most of the Westwood stuff you need to get from a boutique or shop. The UK shops carry the most varied selection of her merchandise.
You can get good deals (not cheap, but not too pricey either) on used Westwood on eBay. But I would be very, very careful about that...

I have a contact allergy to metal with nickel in it, I've never once broken out wearing this. it's a heavyweight item, the chain is nice and long, the peice itself is veyr nicely made, in fact if it weren't for the price tag; you'd think it was almost the real thing.
the seller was amazeing I will be buying other peices from this seller due to the good quality.

it came in a nice box, and was very well packaged.

Also, ebay does have authentic stuff sometimes. The best way is to look for auctions that say 100% authentic in their auction details and take paypal...if you pay via paypal and the item ends up being and fake even though they said it was real..you'll be able to get a refund pretty easily.

Date: 2006-08-25 02:36 am (UTC)When you are shopping for clothes, be sure to check your measurments!! When you are measuring yourself, do not suck it in and pull the tape tight. Be natural! You don't want the clothes to be too tight.
Also, just because some clothing can fit larger sizes, doesn't mean it looks good on all body types. Before you buy something, ask around to see what others have said about the outfit and try to look at some pictures of people around your size wearing them.

Date: 2006-08-25 02:55 am (UTC)If you are looking to buy dresses of jumpers, I would definetly try to find ones with shirring, as they fit most sizes.
There is no hieght req. but most brand name clothing is made for shorter girls, so if you are tall, you will probably won't be able to buy brand unless you commision a knock-off for your height.
I agree with

Date: 2006-08-25 06:26 am (UTC)Unfortunetly I haven't had the chance myself to travel that far yet, though it's true Kera (And Closet Child shops) cram so much in them, especially sale season...*dies*
