Ling Lam shoes review

I know that someone else already did a review of their Ling Lam rocking horse shoes (with pictures, even!), but I thought I'd throw my opinion in, as well.
When I did "buy it now" on the shoes, the seller Ling Lam was careful to remind me (a couple of times) that the soles of the shoes were FOAM, and not WOOD (wasn't there some trouble with this on the group order here? She said wood when it was foam?). So, perhaps (I don't know for sure, of course) there was some confusion with the seller. Maybe she wasn't trying to be deceptive, that is. Either way, for my particular order, she was careful to make sure I knew they were foam.
I did buy it now about a week and a half ago, and the shoes arrived TODAY. Super fast shipping from Hong Kong! So I'm very happy about that. She was very easy to contact when I had a question (answered my emails within the same day), and the shoes arrived EXACTLY as described. They are the Montreal brand, but they are still nice, and I feel that they were worth the price because the ordering was so easy and the shipping was so fast. (Only MY opinion, of course! I know that many of you absolutely want WOOD soles, and that's fine too).
In short, if you don't mind foam soles, I had no trouble whatsoever with Ling Lam. I'm sorry for those of you who had trouble with the group order, but when mediated through ebay at least, the sale was very smooth for me.

If you're ordering from that seller, it would be Esther Ho, not Ling Lam.

Yea she never told me once they were foam until I asked her when they arrived. i'm happy you had a nice experience and I'm guessing now she is makin sure people know they are foam since this didn't do this before. The main problem I had was not that they were foam it was that I didn't want another pair of foam rocking horse shoes. I wanted wood and she said they were wood and then said i was a liar when I told her they were not.

You have every right to be upset about that! If I wanted wood and thought I was getting wood, I would have been pretty damned upset to get foam!

I'm especially sorry that you were called a liar. I guess I was just lucky that things are being handled differently now. But I'm still sorry that you had a bad experience.

Either way, I guess it's good that we both shared our experiences, so people can decide for themselves who they'd like to buy from and who not to, right?

Yea seriously she offers a great price for the shoes. I think a lot of it was confusion in communication. I think she might have really thought the shoes were pinewood and not just foam. She offers greatprices and her shipping is cheaper then a couple of other hk sellers.

I guess I was just REALLY happy that the transaction was so smooth. The shoes are good quality (not totally, completely amazing, but they look pretty well-made), the price was very reasonable, and there were absolutely NO HASSLES. I'm a big fan of no hassles. ;)

i´ve also bought 2 pairs from ling lam.. and the service is really good, she answers very fast on every question. she´s a real good ebay seller..
