Hedda is a New Zealand based company with a great selection of chokers priced at about $45 US. The site is bilingual English/German, too.

Black Market Chicago is a fetish shop (the site obviously contains some adult stuff so I just linked the page with the jewelry; be warned that there's a little bit of butt if you scroll down ^_^;) that stocks these gorgeous "Sissy Maid" collars for $57.

Chateau Bizarre is a directory for pretty much anything alternative under the sun. Their primary focus is Gothic clothes and jewelry, but they also carry punk items, housewares, toys, etc. Every week seven new retailers are reviewed on the main page (warning for our younger members that some of the content may be a little risque) and there's a whole section on Lolita under "Wardrobe."

Yeah, reminds me of some of the Vivienne Westwood (and other couture) jewelry. Like the 3 tiered pearl necklace+orb drop by VW is made with faux pearls and costs 250 pounds x.x

.... 250 pounds = 470 USD. That's a far cry from 57 USD.

I guess those are supposed to stand a bit more wear and tear than the usual gothic lolita choker, so I can see why they cost a bit.

now if only everything (as in, base materials) wasnt so damn expensive, things would be feasible. >.<" [in case thats what the complaints above on price were about?] stuff here in NZ is so expensive, because most of it has to be imported. and then if it isn't its EVEN MORE expensive, because little NZ shopkeepers want to make a living. ;_; i mean, just as a comparison: i can pay, reguarly, around $11m for non-ugly lace trim. and that's the cheap nylon stuff. ;_;
