I was really bored last night so I drew outfits that I plan to make a wear for Halloween / Anime North / Cosplay.
They are based on kodona / oujisama fashion.

Excuse the horrible-ness of the drawings, they were done rather quickly and I know that the porportions are wrong.

Any suggestions of what to change / add?
And also, what kinda of shoes should I wear?




I might change the tie to a big bow.

i was trying to put my own spin on the ouji/ kodona style.

i wanted shorts that are a little longer than booty-shorts ( i am going for a playful sexual boyish look)

yes, LONGER SHORTS. This is not Miami. Almost to the knees. Also, the pants could have a little more...pizazz? Dandys generally have simple pants, but it would be nice to see some interesting pants....
I suggest printed tights (ie: tartan) instead of those tube socks you got. And nice dress socks, of course, are great too.
Also: where's the cute hat?

Most of the dandy/kodona I have seen have had some sort of hat.
But hey: go for the hair!

yup i am planning now.
for anime north 2006 i was planning to make a costume 2 months ahead of time, but i never got in done.

so now that i have 9 months... i think i will have enough time lol.

I don't mean to be harsh..but...this doesn't look dandy at all *____*

the first one looks like a school boy getting undressed and in some boxers...HAHA.

they both look rather plain (and yes dandy is retty simplistic...) but maybe you should try adding some different cuts to your outfits to spice it up a bit, like a long pointy collar or bottom on the undershirt. and deffinatly like everyone else mentioned, much longer shorts. or if you really like the shorter shorts idea, maybe add some larger cuffs on the bottom?

and the tube socks are kinda strange for a dandy....*__*

just a few ideas ^^ heh.
