So! After getting my hours from work, I figured that today would be a good day to annouce that I'd like to organize a meet-up for those of us in the Long Island area. At this point, the tentative date for this is..
Thursday, 24 August at 12 PM, noon at the Milk and Sugar Café located in Bayshore. Please keep in mind that we'll be getting lunch/bunch, so it would be preferable for you to bring some money. The café's menu can be found here.

The café itself is located at 49 West Main Street.

Arrgh... tempteeeed... But whatserface above me says from Penn Station to around there is like... well... costly. All my money's in my paypal and I donno how to get it out. T_T

Mm. D: Yeah. To make a day trip out from Penn is about $20. This commute burned a hole in my pocket a mile wide when I went to the School of Visual Arts for a week.

I know you do a lot of the more-city orientated meet-ups and I will make it to one of those one day, damnit! You guys always look like you have so much fun!

We do have a lot of fun. I'd make the pilgrimage (sp?) but I was just in LI (Hamptons) and I don't want to repeat the experience too quickly...>_>;;; Plus there's a meetup this tuesday and that's enough Loli outing for the next month pour moi.

As shinigamu said, taking a train from Penn to Bayshore or East Islip would be your best bet, and then from there, you could potentially hop a taxi?
