it is Emiky Temple. I'm not sure what season or year it's from, though; I got it off Y!J awhile back and I haven't seen any other pieces from the series. (If I saw a skirt I'd snap it up!)

It's mini black and white check (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v372/foxtoast/checks.jpg) with black trim and embroidery ^^ I really want a grey ensemble, though. ...brown, too! I've recently realized that brown is my favorite clothing color ever.

Open toes are kind of hard, I think, because sometimes they look funny with socks. But, I'm all for expanding loli leg covering options to include tights and bare legs. (I'm also from Seattle, land of the socks-with-birkenstocks, so I try to avoid socks with anything even vaguely sandal-y because I don't want to be associated with those people.)

And I totally love that Emily Temple JSK border; I keep wanting to cut off the top and turn it into a skirt (because it's darted for a smaller boob-to-waist ratio and it doesn't fit quite right, even with the shirring in the back) but I love it too much to defile it. I always end up wearing a blouse over it...
