Posting yet again because brown shoes get no love! I'm keeping it simple this time.



Socks: Metamorphose (So much cuter in real life!)
Shoes: Angelic Pretty (2005 - Although I don't think theses differ at all from the newly released ones.)

Again, sorry for the blur. Unwilling photographer makes for mediocre photographs!

Brown shoes are really cute when you're a brunette, because then they match almost everything. :3 In this picture they look awkward because there isn't anything else brown in the shot. XD

I'm a sucker for brown shoes with all of the autumn colors (navy, forest green, wine, antique white)!

The off-white Berry Stripe just doesn't look right with black or off-white shoes; the black is too harsh and the off-white looks very "Easter Sunday" to me. XD The picture is so washed out and blurry so you can't tell that the tonal striping is actually more antique white (almost tan!) x off-white, and antique white looks better with brown.

Ahh, I can see how that would look strange.. I really don't like white shoes with anything. Red would be cute too, though. ^^

I thought so too but my red AP Tea Party shoes are BRIGHT RED though! I couldn't figure out where I had put my darker red BtSSB bump toes (they've been missing since 2004) so I figured now was as good a time as any to coordinate brown shoes. XD

you wear a size L right? how does angelic pretty L compare to baby stars shine bright L/LL? those are cute shoes, btw. I loooove brown shoes, I think they go lovely with lavendar which is my loli outfit color of choice

I'd say the Angelic Pretty L is roomier than BtSSB's L size. I can feel the tips of my toes touching the end of the shoe in BtSSB L, whereas AP L has more wiggle room. I've never tried on BtSSB LL but I heard they're considerably larger than the L.

I bought some Meta socks recently but they're not the rose print [?] ones.. Honestly I'm not a big fan of Meta, but sometimes they do have really cute things.

I'd really like to have more socks, though.
