:D Thrifted!!!

I was browsing my local thrift and department store when I looked at the shoe rack and my eyes bugged out of my head.   You know those cute mary janes with two straps and hearts cut out along the edges?  I know a lot of you have them.  I got them for $5 in my size!!  I am so very happy about that!

I strongly suggest everyone visiting http://www.savers.com/whoweare/locator.php and see if we have a store where you are!  There are a bunch in Canada, USA, and Australia!  I always find the best stuff at the best prices.  From what I understand, Savers actually sold a Moi Meme Moite dress about two months before I started working there.  No one knew what it was and they sold it for $4.99.  T-T  Like I said, we get all kinds of stuff.  *Whipes tears.*

Oh yes... I shall post pictures of my shoes when I get pictures and post all of my thrifty finds.

They differ so much from city to city though! I went to the VV in chilliwack and they had completely different selection, much more fabric, less shoes and knick knacks, and none of the east indian outfits that are a dime a dozen here.

I got something from a "Putumayo" brand at my dad's thrift store, but it definitely wasn't the Japanese Putumayo. :P It was a weird red-grey floral print skirt.

I sometimes wonder what I'd do if I got something from a lolita brand in at my dad's store--would I take it home, or tell my dad about it? Aaaand, if I didn't find it, it would go out with all the other clothes, which are $1 everyday, no matter what they're made of and what brand they come from! Cashmere and leather (and even rabbit trim! *sob*) gets priced at $1, and it really breaks my heart. :(

True story--someone came in yesterday and asked if our clothes were on sale for $1, because there was a thrift store in town advertising a $1 clothing sale. When my father told her the clothing was, in fact, $1 every day of the week, she put back half the items she wanted to buy and ran out to search for the store that had stuff *on sale*. O.O
