Hye everyone. Today I bring a review for rocking horse ballerina shoes by lolita_lola.

The good: The shoes themselves are beautiful and I am in love with them. Comparatively cheap too. I am not an expert in shoes but from what I can tell, they are fairly well-made. They are very comfortable and surprisingly easy to walk in. The straps are at the side (like the VWs, unlike the Double Deckers) and are made of the same fake leather that the shoe is made out of. The shoes fits me wonderfully in terms of width but are a bit long. The sizing is a bit strange as the shoes are made quite slim and if you have wide feet like mine, it's best to get a size or two bigger. Talk the sizes over with Miwitch, she's very very helpful. Which brings me to my next point, the seller. She's wonderful and she was very patient with me about the payment because I couldn't pay her through Paypal. I ended up having to pay her through telegraphic transfer and even then things went wrong (I ended up having to pay another SGD20 but that was mostly the bank's fault) and I payed her everything after the closing date. I kept bugging her with questions but she was always curteous. After the closing date of the order, I think I probably had to wait about a month for the shoes to be ready. After that, they were shipped to her and she shipped them to us. That took almost another two weeks.

The bad: *thinks* I can't think of anything. I absolutely love the shoes. Love. I would definitely reccomend her to anyone looking to buy some. She also has the rocking horse golf shoes, some rather pretty lolita accessories and occasionally a batch order for clothes, just in case anyone is interested.

^__^ I have the same shoes and agree with you about the strange size. :/ Mine fit perfectly in width but they're LOOOONNNNGGGGG. Oh well. With insoles they fit fine. ^^

The included shipping is for shipping to Singapore itself. Miwitch then ships it out to other countries.

Thank you! You really should! I should be a size 35 EU (according to her chart (http://www.i18nguy.com/l10n/shoes.html)). The width of the widest part of my feet are about 10cm though. I got her to measure a pair of the shoes she had with her like this (http://www.yesalbum.com/v001/Frack/red_shoes2.jpg). The pair she had were size 37 and the measurements (re the pic) were:

Length of inside 24.5cm
Width of smaller part of inside 7.8cm
Width of the inside 6.5cm

I ended up getting a size 38, since it seemed like the 37 would also be too narrow.

I hope you dont mind me asking but how are the pleather straps? i heard the ribbon ones fall down very fast (this is in general my experience with every ribbon shoe anyway xD) so I was wondering if the pleather ones keep up better or not lol

Funny, I was going to put that in the review but was wondering if anyone would care. xDD For me, once I lace them up nice and tight they stay up really well, with or without the stockings. Even if I walk about, they don't fall.

i'm glad someone asked that about the straps because i'm wondering the same thing. i just kept mine wraped around my ankles. i read that the ribbon ones can be pinned to your stockings.

i have the same brand of rocking horse shoes and i LOVE them too. they are just a little bit too long for me, but i'm used to wearing my shoes a little big anyway. they really are comfortable. everyone asks me how i can walk in them.
