Question about proper shoes

I just got this dress

I have the black one, which I wore to my daughters christianing, and I love it.
I plan to wear some type of white shirt underneath I suppose...but since I normally wear black base clothes I am a little puzzled but what shoes to wear. 
I plan on getting a pair of white meta shoes but I am not sure if the might be TOO MUCH for the dress since it is darker. 
Would pink work better or could I get away with black shoes? (I really only own black shoes, red shoes, and then black/white shoes)
I am going through my closet and I plan on posting a sale post as soon as my daughters 1st birthday pass (to much going on in my mind right now)

To clarify: you have two of the same dresses, one in black and the other in bordeaux, correct? Finding a matching shade of bordeaux would probably be too difficult so I would recommend pink shoes.

P.S. I wouldn't recommend wearing black shoes with that dress unless you planned on wearing a black blouse (which would look slightly off) or no blouse at all.

Ditto, those pink shoes would be great with this.
If you could manage to tie the bordeaux colour in with your socks/stockings, though, it would be perfect.

I would definitely wear black shoes. With the dark red base color anything white or pink would look totally bizarre for a shoe.

Thank you for everyones comments (yes to clear it up I already own the black and the bordeaux I just bought)
I think I will go with pink shoes...but the heels I might just fall over in..
I will find a pink shirt to match to try to tie it in and hopefully it will all come together (I have to many clothes in my closet that I just don't wear because I can put something together with it.)If I ever find pink shoes with bordeaux piping it would be perfect..time to go check ebay and y!japan..Thanks again
