great skirt find!

so, there is a store in my home town called "Liquidators," and basically it is one guy who buys estate and then puts EVERYTHING in this one store. after discovering it's existence, and figuring out it schedule (whenever the fudge he feels like opening, usually late afternoon though mid evenings) i have made a habit of going in there and exploring.
I found an amazing skirt!

so it is too small around the weist, but I can make it fit me

i saw it though a plastic bag after just about giving up on the store for the evening. it cost me $5, which I feel was a steal!
another kewl thing, that bottom layer of white beneath the scalloped black detail, is sewn on. aka, with a simple seam ripper, i could make it a scalloped bottom skirt.

that is quite cute ^^ Good candidate for some shortening up. Would also look very cute over a black petticoat if you made the bottom scalloped.

Ohhh that has great pottential for a really nice circle skirt, you could follow the scalloping around the hem & shorten it to just above the knees from just above the stars if it doesn't fit your waist, maybe add black or white lace under the scalloping on the hem... Just a few ideas, ermmm nice find, well done!

yha.... none of my pickies are working.. apparently the school server has woken up this morning and said... "I will not work for you"
and i go "but... but.. I posted so many pretty pictures last night from new new digi cam"
and it goes
"I do not care! i am the uber school server and I brake down whenever I feel like it"
"Please miter home server.. please show my pictures for the live journal community"
"no no no, school is not in session so why should anybody be “relying" on my for anything, I think i will take a long winter nap"
"whaaaaaaaaaasaaaaaaa" <-me

yes i send pictures, cause I really am proud of my find.
i am a little bit insane but that is okay, i am a Gemini, and we are expected to talk to our selves.

*does anybody have any good suggestions on a *free* place to post pictures that is reliable and happy? I am getting sick of my school server being a meany poo*
