A question on jewelry
Jun. 13th, 2006 05:30 pmHi all. I haven't gotten a hld of any of the goth loli bibles, so I thought I'd ask you lovely ladies and gentlemen.
I'm not sure if anyone else has gone over this already, but what qualifies for goth-loli jewelry? Is it lace? Or just delicate patterns? I ask because I also love antique victorian rings and necklaces and wonder how the rest of the community feels.
To me it seems as though most goth-loli look towards crowns and roses and lace, but what about silver necklaces and the such? Or earrings? Would you say studs or hanging pieces? I'm really curious!

You can also look at the jewelry/accessories sections of the websites of lolita brand sites that are less sweet lolita and more other styles (Mary Magdalene and Victorian Maiden for classic lolita, for example).

I personally prefer dangly earings with anything and everything, but I think little rose studs would be darling! Or uneven hanging crosses for a gothic look.
I've been pondering making an online store for EGL jewelry so I'm very curious about the results of this thread :D
