I need a dress.
I am graduating in exactly 21 days and I have no dress.
WHY would I be a stupid idiotic fool and wait till now you ask? I was NOT planning on GOING to grad. But. My friends. The peer pressure. In shame I admit, I succumbed. I am being forced to go. Which means. I need. A dress.
Anyone selling anything, and can ship to Canada, and can have said outfit arrive in time? Ill need it by the 22nd.
PLEASE. HELP ME.

What am I looking for?
Im looking for something unique, original, something that WONT look like every single other dress there. Im thinking something punky and gothy. EGA or EGL. Maybe a dash of Medieval style, You know. Amy Brown kind of thing. Only less slutty. It needs to be something pretty fancy, too, because I daily wear gothy punky dresses, so just throwing a dress on wont make me fancy, to dress up it has to be something obviously made for a very special occasion.

Size... Im fairly small... everywhere. Short, small waist, small breasts, ect. So.. yeah, really smallness. But not to the tiny extent. Just a little bit smaller then average.

Yeh. I realize I am probably fighting a loosing battle. Im probably going to end up going in something average, run of the mill, looking like every other girl there -_-
(as long as my date can make it I think Ill survive, but still. I need a dress that stands out and fully expresses my fashion sence.)

Would you like me to take a picture of my grad dress for you? I graduated several years ago and have only been able to wear it a few times. It's a red/burgundy velvet rennaissance-ish dress (there's one kind of like it in ever after) - anyway it's really lovely - you sound like you're a lot smaller so not too sure how easy that would be to fix, but email me if you want pics/sizing/whatnot (islandgirl_3 (at) hotmail (dot) com). plus aren't you wearing the robe? if you are it's just going to cover the gown and no one will see anyway. one of the things i hated most about grad was that they had you dress up even with the dang floor length robe.

Yeah, the blue grad gown goes over your outfit for the cerimony, but you get to show off your fancy outfit at the prom dance/party.

full size, obviously in dire need of a dry cleaning. at the time i was abit chunkier when i wore it so it's a slightly tailored down size 7. though it is very easily taken in so if yuo wanted it taken in well..there. also once it is dry cleaned it's a very dark shade of silvery-gray, when i first saw it after having it cleaned i actually tried to give it back because i didn't realize it was my dress. the color changed that much.

it has black tulle coming otu of the bottom, it's not all the way up in the skirt but just around the edges

the top has boning in it, it was abit too big for my size near double a boobs.

Not very loli of me, but I can assure you that because all the girls are likely to dress up, jeans a t-shirt would make you stand out. It did for me, and I was trying not to stand out.

I was thinking of asking for 70$ since it's not as perfect as my newer things construction-wise (it's 4 years old and has been only worn 3 times, it was my first lolita dress that I made though), but is still probably a step above some. I made it before I got my serger so the seams are overcast on my sewing machine instead of finished with my serger, and the bodice is the only part that is lined (but it's been through the washing machine twice and nothing has fallen off or been damaged or frayed). If I'm selling it I'm going to rip out the zipper and resew it because it's got some weird looking stitches on it and I wouldn't send something like that (though it's never been noticible in pictures and I'm sure I'm just being nitpicky as usual) ^_^;.
To let you know though, there is no shirring or waistbow and it was made for someone (me XD) who measures 35"-23.5"-35.5" and has narrow shoulders and back.
