Okay, this is a stupid question... but...

I saw a post a while back, here are the pics:

Basically I like their makeup. It looks simple and such but there's some pizzaz to it I can't explain. Is it the eyebrows you think? Maybe the pale face? I don't know. Is there a way to do this... or am I just stupid or something?

Thanks ha.

Why not ask them in a comment on their posts?

from the looks of it, liquid eyeliner on top and corner, thick but even and following the shape of your eye completely (probably easiest with a felt liquid eyeliner pen), and pencil eyeliner along the lower lid. i get a similar effect when i do this... then maybe thickening mascara (after curling) but only mascara-comb halfway from the tip out. light/white eye crayon/pencil on the outer perimeter of the eyeliner, then mmaybe emphasize sides of the eyes closest to your... uh.. tear duct and nose? and probably light/white eyeshadow...

the above was just late night speculation, but maybe it'll help :D

also, the effect comes out different when your eyebrows are different size (well really, a different distance from your eyelid), so plucking+eyebrow gel or maybe plucking a LOT and drawing a thin one in...?

yeah, it looks like the person has completely removed their eyebrows and then redrawn them in. but I'm just guessing!

I'm certain it's the eyebrow. they're to high on the forehead and if the eyelid would be to big and thick if it wasn't.

Silver shadow in the tear ducts and besides liner on top, she lined her waterline with a black eye pencil which gives her eyes a more intese look. And mascara.

By the way, lining your waterline with white pencil liner makes your eyes appear larger and doll-like.

Do eeeeet. I love little makeup tricks like that that are unnoticeable unless you're looking for them, so that all you see is the effect.

may I ask where is the waterline?

I should try that sometime, when I have the courage :D

It's the little bit of skin right next to your eyeball, above your bottom lashes. You have to get the point of your pencil real soft by rubbing it between your fingers, pulling down the skin around your eye a little to get the waterline a little away from your eyeball, then line that bit of skin. It's going to feel real weird the first time you do it, but it gets easier when you get used to it.

Usually when you line the bottom of your eye, there's a skin colored piece above your bottom lashes. When you line that also, it gives your eyes a very intense look.
