Hair appropriate for a female dandy? n__n

Hihi! I'm just wondering for some opinions... What hairstyle do you think would work well with a female Dandy with medium-length hair [I'll be wearing a mini tophat, so no stuffing]? I had some ideas, but none that worked with my fancy well enough. n_n; (I thought of just some messy or elegant ringlets, or flat-ironing, but I wanted something a bit more appropriate and fancy...)

When I had long hair I used to tie it back in a boy-ponytail with a ribbon, sometimes with the front of my hair/my bangs loosened. Think Malice Mizer-era Gackt XD

Let's see what I have... I have some pictures, but they were from a couple of months ago so my hair is just a tad bit longer, but wtfever... xD

I drew out some styles (please excuse my horrid ms paint skills...lol)

The first one your hair would be put up in a messy bun on the side of your head with a few pieces hanging out. I would suggest crimping or spiraling the peices hanging out.
The second is like what kittyhot suggested. Tieing or braiding your hair back but leaving a few pieces in the front hanging out to give it that aristocrat-ish look.
The thrid your hair would just be crimped and teased to all hell to give that crazy kind of look...which I dont think is what you wanted but it can look really cool when done well ^^.
And the fourth is just flat ironed strait so that the ends are nice and whispy.
And dont forget...spiraling always looks cool, too : )

When I said "fancy", I meant, "complicated" or "interesting" or just "takes more time to do and more 'dressed up'". You know what I mean? I really wasn't looking for a sleek sophisticated look this time, but more of a 'messy' Visual Kei type.

I wore my hair down a slight bedhead do, but it was paired with a big hat:

I think mini top hats generally look better with hair up/back unless you have short hair, but I'd consider that more kodona than dandy.

I tried looking through the photos given on the description of Dandy under the memories, and they ALL had hair either flat-ironed or with a slight bedhead-type look like yours above. *shrug*

Not boy-lolita, but rather like the compliment to Lolita...

It's most likely the gentleman you see standing next to a lovely Loli in photoshoots and such...

Those seem more Kodona than Dandy, and most are paired with short hair, but thanks for the help anyway. n__n;

I always put my hair back in a single braid when I dress dandy. It looks very elegant.
