Some of the nicest looking Loli-able Ebay finds aren't listed under "gothic lolita" (and some of the strangest stuff DOES get listed as gothic lolita, but that's another story). Some of them may not be completely EGL at first glance, but with slight modification (rounding a pointed collar) and or being worn with the right items (black lace trimmed skirt floofed up with a petticoat) their potential could shine. Plus they frequently go for a lot less than those listed as such, which is always good for those of us who can't afford Lolita items straight from Japan. My search parameters were "blouse (lace, ruffle, ruffles, ruffled)". Below is just a small sampling of what turned up... mostly the results were white or cream.



















None of these auctions are mine, by the way, just finds.

When looking for gothic lolita skirts or petticoats on ebay I just type in square dance and while I have to sort through page after page of junk there are always a least a few adorable things for like 5 or 10 bucks.

I've tried this, but I never end up winning them. Well, I won one skirt. Once. And it seems like it may have been "lost in the mail." Grrr.

aww that's no good at all :( I guess I'm just lucky because I'm always winning stuff on ebay and while sometimes things get here later than I'd prefer only one thing (out of like 100) has never shown up. I bougt this adorable lil pink skirt with white trim http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=314&item=2856790442 for only 7 bucks and this wonderful parasol http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2860637209&category=1464&rd=1 for only $11 and I bought two of these petticoats http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=48878&item=2857483004 one in lavender the other in light blue for only 13 dollars each and my skirt for my comic con costume http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2860799757&category=11556&rd=1 was only $14 but it is rather plan and will be attacked with lace and ribbon once it gets here. So the point of my rambling: you can get great find on ebay, just be careful never to buy something expensive from someone who doesn't have much feedback or has many negative comments.
