Always check your online statement daily. If you don't have an online statement use telephone banking. If you check it daily and keep a record of your purchases you will know if you are a victim of credit card fraud. Almsot every bank will not hold you accountable for the purchase and will return the mooney to you or shut off your card and send you a brand new one.

Closet Child's clothes are second hand.

Gender doesn't matter for any form of fashion.

I hardly ever use my card online if i can help it, if they accept Money orders i will always use that. I dont like having my credit information floating aroudn in cyber space it makes me uneasy.

usually you have to go through a errand service. I know Closet Child doesn't ship internationally so you will have to use a errand service like rinkya.com or crescent-shop.com or celga.com. You contact them and tell them what you want. I think crescent is the easiest. tell them what you want to buy they give you the total if it's not sold out. You pay using paypal, which is very safe, then they order it for you, when they are about to ship the item, they tell you the price to ship it usuing EMS. You pay again using paypal and then the item comes to you.

if i spend alot online in one time using my credit card
my bank will suddenly stop my credit card until you ring them back..
because they feel too unsafe to buy big amount online...

so mostly if they accept money order, will be great to use that, even though there's a risk and have to wait
or you can do telephone bank but have to charge extra for the transaction fee..
or if you got someone that can do the bank transfer in that place..it will be more easier

closet child sell second hand things..but it still nice

Look out for https at the begining og the URL at check out, this means you are on a secure server. Another thing people might be interested in are Visa gift cards. A lot of banks do them, you put however much cash on them you like, and they work like a credit card through online sites. They aren't attached to your accounts, so the only money liable is the amount you put on there.

I've been suggesting this to my customer who are either too young for a credit card, or like you nervous about the net.

Did anyone here say that it does matter? I hope not, that would be so..... closed-minded.

Most people don't have an issue with the gender thing in relation with EGL.

Paypal is great, unless you accidentally type an e-mail address wrong.

I went through this whole dispute with YesAsia in December over having an address of theirs in my list of addresses I've used before and had no problems and sent to the wrong one which apparently didn't exist. I still got my $23.99 USD back in the end, but it took about a month for it to be solved, so be CAREFUL!

i just use copy and paste button. you ask in an email or whatever, or copy from a website. that way you can never go wrong unless you copied only half the email adress.

unless you are loaded with spyware and viruses paypal is a very secure way to go, as for my creditcard, if you look at the receipt (i receive one every month) and you see something that isnt right you can ask them to deposit it back i believe. not sure if paypal would be to happy with that but you can file fraud with them so. then again ive been using paypal for a good three years now and ive never had a single problem with it.
in fact ive never even been ripped off using paypal, but i have with using other forms of payment :(

I lost $100 or so when someone selling a lolita dress scammed me last year o_o;
The thing is Paypal can only fix things after 60 days or so if they go wrong, if longer then they seem absolutely useless...The seller in question had kept the item on hold for a long time so I couldn't complain to paypal~ Anywho it uberly sucked XD;

Only thing is, not every where takes Paypal, I know i personally don't.

I find it's popular with hobby sellers and the like because it takes nothing to set up. Most businesses I buy from don't offer it, partly I suspect because the fees are so high, and their policies have been known to screw people.

Plus Paypal is still vulnerable your profile is attached to your accounts.

I do think people are freaking out lately a bit about using cards online. At least your cards are insured, and to be honest if your identity is going to get stolen, it's most likely going to come from your trash.

If there is a problem with a credit card payment you can do a chargeback, just ring the card company and explain the situation. They deal with it a lot and any card that does not have fraud protection (none that I know of) is not worth using.

Exactly, very few other methods have this protection (if any?)

yeah, i would venture to say that your credit card is the safest way against some sort of scamming, but i'm not sure about how safe it is regarding your information "getting out".

anyway, i thought that visa gift card mentioned above is a stellar idea :D
xx

Closet Child is used clothing, but used in Japan is just as good as new. Sometimes they get in clothes from older seasons that are not used. Everything I've ever purchased from the Closet Child stores in Japan have been clean and wonderful. Even used CDs in Japan are like brand new with stickers and everything still in the case (unless you buy from Bookoff).
