Wearing Lolita in hot weather

Ok so in Australia, and mainly South Australia, it has been getting above 30 degrees Celsius!
I was wondering if any one has any suggestions on how to wear lolita and keep cool?

Reszing a plastic bangle
Jan. 22nd, 2011 03:04 pmjuniorsweet.livejournal.comI just had a new bangle arrive in the mail today and my wrist slips through the opening because my wrist is about the same size as the opening. Is there some kind of way to make it smaller? Boiling the part that goes over my wrist and then gently pushing the sides together comes to mind.

In this case, more on the Elegant Gothic Lolita page actually, and it's more for general... reputation than anything? Aside from nicely useful image section that's just been put up, are the examples here largely accurate or not (and does anyone know which examples to cut off, because aside from one photo, Emilie Autumn =/= EGL just because of one song called 'Gothic Lolita.) I've had a few cases of people telling me that '_____ is TOTALLY LOLITA, IT SAYS SO RIGHT HERE.'
(I don't really consider Belarus of APH as lolita, because the first thing that came to mind was 'maid costume', although she might be a classic lolita by some stretch...?

Me personally, not having watched that much anime, am not sure which to edit. I've just never heard it referred to as 'antique cosplay' before (because it's not really cosplay if you're not trying to be a fictional character. D:)
