Fabric Question

Hi! I have a question. I'm making the frilly blouse on page two of the Handmade G&L book (the blue one). What would but a good fabric to use for a blouse like that? Broadcloth? I'm just curious, because I used I think tricot for my sailor blouse and it frayed really bad.

Well hello!
you probably don't know me but I've been reading the post for a while and I finally registerd a few days ago (i finally understood how lj works!! *cheers*)
Well anyways, this post is to officially apoligy to Crecsent!
I posted a few days ago that i send Crecsent an inquiry (and resent it) and they didn't reply even after more than a week.
So this is just to let you know that they finally replied to my emails!
Apparently they didn't get the first one and they were bussy dealing with problems while moving their office so they were late on their replies!
They'll get me the MA skirt and shirt i asked (and even the platree cd!!)
So they're good guys! (so far ^_~) if someone shows interest I can tell you how the transaction went once it's over and I got my items :)
