My Dress For Sale at Delirium Kawaii!

When I first entered this community I showed people small pictures of me dressed up in my egl dress for homecoming (blonde hair, blue lips, pretty boy?) Anyways I never was able to show you a picture of me fully in the dress because the camera broke and I lost all of my photo's. However, the store that custom made my dress (Delirium Kawaii) asked my permission if I could have the design sold as a regular outfit there. I agreed and so the lady named it "Sai's Dress" after me. I bought the outfit on eBay from socold2003 (except the bag, which I've had since childhood.) It's simple and cute and I love it :)

I've got another Victorian skirt up on ebay (the last I'll be making for the forseeable future, just so you know), a unique elegant gothic style skirt with a train that's several feet long and can be tied up into a draped effect with its ties, a steel boned corset in grey and black, some CLAMP manga, and a hide laserdisc.. not that the last two have to do with egl, but... :) Enough ppl here seem to be at least peripherally into it.

Let me know what you think? Wish I had better pics of some of it, but I don't. *sheepish* But there should be more clothes up and some EGL/A able hair pieces and additions in the next couple of weeks too. It's room cleaning time.

Hey, I don't know if anyone on this group would be able to help me with this, but I had a dress design I was considering making, and it involves sleeves which it would be nice to make removable. How do you do that? I was just assuming snaps, but if anyone has more specific advice on it, I'd apreciate it. Also, I wanted to make the big front part a seperate piece that buttons in the back and just goes over the rest of the dress, and I was thinking of giving the dress a rounded collar (peter-pan style, i guess you call them) in the dress body color, that could stick out over the big white piece. Any opinions on this? I'm not sure if it would look good or not, I'm just trying to figure out how I would go about actually constructing this dress in real fabric.
