a (semi) formal introduction

hiya!

my name's jen and i've been a part of this community for about several months now. (hmmmm... actually that's a lie ^^;; if ya want to get all technical about things, i just joined officially a few seconds ago, but anyway....) i'm a huge black lace, big black buttons freak, and i just really truly adore the diversity in this community especially. i'm a plus size lolita so one of my favorite hobbies include sewing and designing egl clothing that'll fit my vivacious body ^_~ if i'm not sewing, i'm probably doing something artsy like doodling or reading (is that artsy??).

Northern California Goth Loli Gathering

Since... the Vancouver one is up... i thought i might put up mine too.

This is the itinerary for the the gothic lolita meeting next Saturday (August 16). It
includes rough price estimates as well. Email me if you have any questions!

10am -10:30am: Meet at SF Japantown Plaza (the outside area with the tall
white building between the two wings). We can take pictures, greet each other,
etc. Please make sure to bring your own cameras and film!

Noon: Lunch $8 - $12, depending on what you buy...remember this is SF, prices
can get steep if you buy food like sushi.

After lunch: Shopping and roaming, bring however much you think you'll need.
There are a few music shops, a video store with lots of anime dvds, a big
sanrio store and other random shops. There's even a dollar store with some
interesting things so even if you don't have much, there may be something nice
you'll
find.

4 pm: Tea time! $2.50 per cup $3-$5 each for sweets, pastries, etc.

6pm or 7pm: Dinner $8 -$12

After dinner until 9pm or so: Karaoke, it costs about $30 a room, so the more
people there are, the cheaper it will be.
