I'm going to try to talk to my mom today about helping me make a gothic lolita-esk outfit (hopefully in time for otakon ~.~; ) but I don't know how I would explain what gothic lolita is. For me, it's just one of those things where you know what it is, but can't explain it to another person to save your soul. I know I'm going to show her pictures and what not, but she is going to ask me what it is im sure. Has anyone ever told their parents about it? Any advice would be welcome xD;

someone posted earlier about the gothic jewelry at claire's. i just went to target and they have a few similar items. i assume it's cheaper there.

also, a question: i know the online stores for metamorphose and baby the stars shine bright... but what are some more gothic (as opposed to classic) lolita labels/stores? besides moi-meme-moitie...
