Okies, so on the Black Lolita list there was a statement made that the Lolita/Gothic Lolita trend is dying. Of course, some panic ensued. I tried to calm everyone by mentioning fashion styles never die, they only take naps to return in a season or two, a year or few, etc... However, they are still upset, and saying that no more Gothic & Lolita Bibles are going to come out. What I'm wanting to know is this: Does anyone have anything concrete regarding this? And, if it is... Well, who is to say we can't start a nice lil movement in the U.S. and elsewhere? Just because it isn't popular in Japan anymore doesn't really affect the rest of us... Yesh yesh, the Gothic & Lolita Bibles are INCREDIBLY nice and all, but honestly, we really aren't in NEED of anymore of them... Some Loli's don't have even ONE G&LB...

Headpieces and accessories, anyone interested?

Anyone looking for egl accessories? I'm about to start selling some of my stuff. (I will post pictures soon). Im gonna sell them for cheap cause I really dislike how expencive good egl wear is. >_< I'm also dissapointed in some of the things I've seen on ebay. I really try to make my things durable and from the best materials I can afford. Ive got some headpieces i'll probally sell for around $8-$10 (they are my own designs and completley assembled by me). Some of the more elaborate ones will be more. Like the last 3 I made, as those took about 2hrs each and lots of materials (the materials used are hard to find and pricey so I have to charge more so I can afford to make them u_u) They will be around $20-$40 depending on materials. Hey, all. I've been lurking here for a bit, and I think I've finally mustered up enough courage to make my own corset. I don't have the money or time to make an exceptionally beautiful one; actually it'll just be for cosplay, worn 2-3 days at the most. So are there any tips, shortcuts, things to avoid, etc that anyone can suggest? Hopefully I'm not cheap enough to use cardboard for it, but I'd rather not buy the real materials if it's only going to last 3 days.. so substitions would help a lot too. Thanks a lot.

And at AX this year, if you see a horribly made corset-resembling thing, that'll probably be me. Try not to laugh.

Hiya, I'm one of those people that join communities and just lurk because they're too shy to say anything (I'm not the only one, right? ^^;)

I design Lolita-ish outfits as a hobby, and I thought I'd share with you, since you're probably the only people who would look at it and not think I'm a big weirdo (since there are NO Loli's here, or anyone who appreciates them for that matter...).
