I'm sorry to plug up the community. But please. No more arguing. That thread with the 52 comments? It's becoming a flaming board! People, come on! We're better than this! And I'm sorry if I'm wrong, and if this sounds bad, but...I noticed most of the posts that started this are from the new lolita members.

Please, respect others and their opinions. Not everybody likes Hot Topic and not everybody dislikes them.

Okay? Please, lets be done with this and give it a rest. Enough is enough.

I do agree its going over board, But in my defense i kinda thought this was a place to post things like this for honest opinions and replys. But yeh its like annoying me now and im not a even a fan of hottopic.

Hating a brand/store simply because it's "popular" is completely idiotic. People would like to think their above mainstream society because they are more educated things that are otherwise not fed out to the media.

People should be able to like what they like, mainstream or not, without getting bullshit for it. You'd think people of the underground would understand that. These silly little goth elitists are just as bad as people who think they are above society because they own all things mainstream.

I was gave it a maximum of twenty hours before a post like this appeared.

I wish I had started a betting pool *whines* I could be rich by now.

Anyway, I did notice that it was the new ones bringing it up most often. Well, as any LJ community (or any group) grows in membership, controversy arises. That's why I prefer smaller organizations. I don't have anything against anyone, however. I just hope our Mod-Dearest will be able to handle the little sparks and sputters.

I didn't want to come off as a bitch. And I didn't want to become someone's statistic, because really, it saddens me I had to resort to this to end my annoyance. I really wish I had a more elegant way of putting my feelings and annoyance into words, but...it didn't happen. I just got annoyed with the whole thing, y'know? It's just...it's just not a big deal to me.

You know. This may sound ridiculous, but, whenever I'm having a bad day, I so something to my hair. The hair is actually one thing that drew me into Goth-Loli style. (and the love for etiquette. I was brought up to be a lady and every person I've met since I was five years old has tried to make me rough and callous. I'm happy to find a group that appreciates the finer things in life and the finer ways of living.)

So, what do you like to do? Think about it and smile about it. If it's within reason, go do it. Or better yet, get out some music that you enjoy. I listen to Disney music whenever I need cheering up. But um.. dont' tell anyone about that. I'm just now getting everyone used to the curly pigtails and lacy gloves. I've got to ease the childish tastes in later...

you didnt come off as a bitch you came out as having a valid opinion.I mean thats what this is for and no one can put you down for having an opinion, like we both had to perspectives on the whole thing and that was a good thing. Im glad you said what you felt and in fact I thought quite highly of you for it :D. The only thing i didnt like about this whole ordeal if you will was it left me with a yucky feeling *shudders*.
