a) what's the most you've ever spent on loli-goodness, vs. the greatest steal you ever got, vs. your favorite loli item?

b) cheapest place besides ebay steals to get short sleeve loli blouses on the net? i'm liking the exquisite lass ones but i'm broke as usual.

Most I spent was about 200$ Canadian for a long skirt and fitted peasent blouse top. Yes from a mainstream store in canada called Le Chatau. Probably spelled that wrong.
It's More elegent gothic aristocrat then lolita. The small puffy sleaves making it more cutsie then normal.
It's a very fitted style and reminds me of some of the Victorian Maiden elegent tyle designs. It's in a nice thick black heavy dull finished satin like material.
Also bought in the same trip but in a more shiny satin like material is a boned corset top. I washed it which was bad and ruined the poor thing. Has a zipper side and lace detailing along the top. Wanted to get.make a cute jacket like thing to go with the entire outfit but then I ruined the corset. Must pay attention to dryclean only labels!!
But yes was Is an absolutely lovely outfit and quite elegent.
Came in pastel blue and off white as well.

Pah to anyone who says mainstreaming a fashion is bad. Since gothic style clothes showed up on the run ways last year I have sooo many lovely Well made clothes from random stores in the mall! ^_^

But yes 250$ I suppose is the most I've spent.

My best loli bargain was probably a dress I bought for $15 (Canadian) at a thrift store. I wouldn't say 15 was a huge bargain except that with all the hacking and altering I did to that dress, I got a cute short dress, a full gathered skirt, lace armwarmers and a lace choker all out of that one dress! Can't say I've ever bought anything expensive loli, because I pretty much never spend big money on clothes. I am the bargain queen! ^_-

most greatest steal i ever got was a mumu type deal i got at ebay for $7 that i *TrAnSfOrMeD* to a lolita-esque (cuz it's not really, really lolita) dress that actually fit me like a <3dream<3 CHUUUU~~* =^.^= why is it soo hard to find an egl dress in a 2x?

hmmm... don't really do short sleeves so i can't answer that! luv me longsleeves, i do. even in summer! why, oh why does it have to be so damn hot in san diego?? T_T;
