My first EGL dress!

I finally finished this. It's not very advanced, but it's my first EGL outfit, and I've done all the work on it myself. Well, nearly. The dress is a black dress in something that looks like velvet but isn't, and was bought at a second-hand store for 6$. Then I bought the red ruffle and added it by hand. I paid more for the ruffle than the dress...

...The headpiece was made by leftover ruffle, leftover black fabric from a doll dress I made and some red satin ribbons I got from my mother's work. I'm really fond of it, because it sits perfectly on my head and doesn't fall off, because the ruffle I used is elastic. Handy.

The socks were a gift from my mother and the shoes are my mother's. I need a better pair of shoes for this outfit.



Don't mind the pose, I was being silly. Sadly, this was the one that looked best of all the ones with a full view...

Thank you! I'm pretty fond of black and red lolitas, too, though my next project will be in black and purple. Purple lace or ruffles are just really hard to find. I'm glad you like it...

I know. The other pictures were even darker. I need a better camera, really. I used my sister's digital camera, but appearently it isn't very good...
