rainedragon.livejournal.comI was looking through some of my old (ouch) AP catalogs and in one of them from 2014 there was this marshmallow bag pictured with the re-release of magical etoile. I realized that I don't remember ever seeing this bag, and after looking through lolibrary and a couple google searches, I don't think AP ever released this bag?

justice grace salisbury steakHi everyone! Recently I’ve been looking more into how Lolita dresses are made, and I had no idea that some brands had designers separate from the seamstresses! I’m working on my first design today and I was wondering..
Can I partner with a seamstress to become a brand? In theory of course, I’d need to work more on designing more dresses, blouses, etc..
Can I apply to be a designer for an already existing brand?
I want to learn more about how it works and how I can become more involved ^^

Hi, I was wondering if there was a place I could look for small owned Lolita brands ! Especially US based ^^
I live in New York, and there’s a store nearby named Sweet Poison Cupcake! They sell bodyline and other Lolita clothes, and I started looking online for small brands to support, but most of them are Japan-based or etsy stores that aren’t running anymore.
I was also looking for a store where I could model for :)) either online or at an event near where I live! I’ve always wanted to be a Lolita model
And I’m really just doing it for the experience so I can get myself out there ^^

Sneaking in at (beyond) the last second is Z's wardrobe, for the second year in a row!
It looks like I skipped a year because we all said "2019" last year. I swear this is two in a row! Do we all just want to pretend 2020 didn't happen?
I was super busy this month so I'm late getting this up, and the lighting is awful, and nothing is arranged nice, and I skipped some categories, and.... Excuse me.

This is just part 1, I still need to edit my tops and accessories, those clips have a lot less talking haha. Sorry I'm a little awkward ;;

Last year I was studying in Japan and by the time I came back I was busy graduating, so I forgot to do a wardrobe post last year. This year I wanted to try to do one again, but I must admit I recycled some photos as it became quite a bit of work to photograph it all... I also didn't photograph everything in the end, as it already is a lot. I want to try another format next year, but I am not quite sure what kind of format. Angelic Pretty Authenticity Help

I recently joined the EGL community and was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers as to how to identify if my dress is an authentic AP dress?
The dress in question is Angelic Pretty's Chess Emblem OP in red and white. It has been my dream dress for five years now and I was able to purchase it from fril.jp pre-owned. The seller had a large collection of pre-owned lolita dresses and accessories for sale so I figured it would be trustworthy.
I got it a few days ago and I've been really thrilled about it, but since I've never owned an AP piece before, I couldn't tell if it's authentic and I really want to make sure. I looked online for some resources to help me, but they all say things like "unclear print" and "sloppy stitching" or "bad lace" — all of which I think I need a reference for.
If anyone can give some more pointers, that would be great! I can also post some photos or describe the dress in greater detail if anyone is willing to provide expertise. Thanks!

My first closet post despite wearing lolita since 2014 ✌️ Better late than never I suppose. I would consider myself mainly sweet in style however I noticed an ever increasing amount of darker items in my wardrobe. In more recent years I really broadened my taste and slowly experimented with adding new styles and colors to my closet. I have to admit I ran out of time due to work, to fully photograph my entire wardrobe. I was able to take photos of most of my main pieces and a few of my favorite bags. Maybe next year I will be able to showcase the fuller extent of my closet
