Hi everyone! I make custom clothes and costumes. I've posted in the past, but I just wanted to give you all an update. I can make anything you see that I've already made, anything that you can find a picture of, other clothes you're interested in, sketches you may have of clothes, etc. I actually prefer to make things from a sketch or a picture of something else since it involves a greater level of creativity. :) I'm interested in doing more EGL projects, so if any of you want something, I'll be happy to make it for you!

Oh, I've seen your work before! Very nice! I especially love the lace sundress-looking ensemble with the cute sleeves. The dress itself reminds me of one that Asuka wears in the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Since before I saw any of the series, I have absolutely COVETED her dress. :3

The black & white crisscross ribbon skirt is awesome. I've always loved things like that. Keep up the good work! <3

:3 I've only seen the first...mmm, fifteen episodes or so. >.> My mate recently got the rest of the series AND End of Evangelion on DVD! @_@ We're both nearly wetting ourselves with anticipation of the movie. =D;;

I warn you that Evangelion goes nuts as it progresses with all the imagery and implied meanings. End of Evangelion will leave you in total contemplation. I still can't figure everything out, LOL. But everyone keeps saying that you're not supposed to figure everything out. But, anyways, I hope you enjoy the rest of it as much as I did! hehe

hm. your photos make me want to know how much you'd charge for an imitiation of these hideously overpriced puffy sleeved armwarmers (http://store.yahoo.com/sowear/glovesblanbl.html), and for some bell sleeve armwarmers that i already have the lace material for.

$69?! Are they nuts? Those would be so simple to make. Hmm, I guess an exact price that I would charge would depend on the material used, but I think $20 sounds like a pretty normal rough estimate. That is of course negotiable by the type of fabric. And as for the bell sleeve armwarmers, if you already have the material, then I wouldn't charge you much at all to make them. Honestly, I have so much fun just sewing things that I can't justify charging insane amounts for it, even though it is technically a service, lol. Maybe like $6-8, depending what they would require for elastic or attachment to your arms. If you have a sketch of how you want them or a picture, that would help, but I can go from a description and draw some concept sketches to show for your approval as well.

Ugh. I don't like those ones. They look too spandexy for my taste. Also, the whole "puffy at the top, skin-tight at the bottom" thing is just plain ugly. It's like the apparel version of the mullet.

I don't like the material they're made out of either (that's black? looks like crappy ass gray to me...) but i like the puffy top, fitted bottom thing. reminds me of similar egl-ish blouses, i forget what that type of sleeve is called... i want to say leg o mutton but i'm probably horribly off. properly done i think it could be really cute.

I was checking out that whole website, and everything is so expensive. It makes me wonder if I should go into the online-clothing-store buisness, lol. They're always so overpriced. I could never charge that much and avoid feeling extremely guilty though. Maybe once I learn to make a webpage, I should set up a website that sells clothes for cheaper prices.

Those are awesome! I've never seen armwarmers like 'em. I think if you made more, maybe lace-trimmed, you could sell them on ebay!

Thanks! They were actually a sort of improvisation. I was cutting a pair of legwarmers, and they were too small, so I made armwarmers. They're just gathered at the top onto a band of elastic (the normal make a hem and thread elastic through it thing), and then they are attached to the bottom part just with a normal stitch after they were gathered. I did try to sell those on e-bay, but no one bought them, so I was discouraged from making any more again.

Unless you used pink eyelet cotton itself. That would be even dreamier. It'd be like ecstasy, without being dumb and actually doing ecstasy. ^^
