Never thought I'd ever have to make a cross-post, but I finally have a Serious Project close to completion (stalled today by lack of zipperage). Most of the lace was bought pregathered and then ungathered, stitched down along one edge. Upon retrospect, I would have sewn the center back seams together first, and then put the lace across it. One uneven patch on the back. Sewing machine from hell was behaving itself mostly; it likes to skip stitches and bend pins and break needles and generally be a pain. Pattern from Vol 4.

PSP decided today that it didn't want to work.... so these are from digital camera on my kitchen floor, cropped out in ACDSee O-o; Used broadcloth too; it's awfully thin for this.
