coordination help?

just a quick question about incorprating colour into an all black outfit.

Okay, so i have this black dress which is lolitaish but i feel i need to dress it up a bit because its a bit plain and casual.
So i bought an underbust corset (which is great) which has red stitching through it.
Now, i'm trying to put together a gothic lolita outfit with this, and i have black shoes with lace ancle straps and am looking at a black hair accessory (i have purple hair, so it should look nice)

Heres a picture of what it would look like (the grey is stitching lines and shirring, not actually grey)


now my questions are, because i dont have any socks or stockings for it;
-would wearing red stockings look silly and unloli?
-what about red and black striped socks? (the stereotypical goth ones)
-should i instead be looking for nice black and red patterned ones which are more loliable?
-would a red back help coordinate the outfit, do you think, or should i stick to black?
