la, there are some handbags I made.
I thought I'd post em cause the design was totally inspired by egl/fruits fashions. I made the first one a couple years ago after getting the Fruits book. Then I made the white one for sister. And I've made some more of the red, I just made my fourth red one and I put it up on ebay (if anyone is interested ^_-). I want to make some more of a similar furry bags with vinyl applique, but I was thinking different colors and applique like for one I was thinking of a cute crown instead of the heart and demon wings.

if you make one out of pink and black, i will buy it! i would also buy a pink and black one with a crown on it, maybe a different pink? like one hot pink and one baby pink.

pink is such a good idea! thankyou! when I make the crown one I'll hafta do pink...with...er, maybe black again... I was thinking of purple and yellow too. though it's more fruits-y but I'm a sucker for contrasting colors. but I couldn't find any yellow vinyl around here. and they're always running out of black, it's always like...just clear colors. that's no good o_o anyhoo! definitely gonna look for some fur and such next time I go to the fabric store though.

yes, i want pink and black...here is a good site for vinyl: http://store.yahoo.com/velvet-fabric/fabricvinyl.html their prices are reasonable and they ship quickly.
pink and black is the best, although the yellow and purple sounds lovely...

yeah, and they have really cute pink and black fabric at JoAnn's right now from the spring collection...hmm...maybe for lining ^_^ I'll check out this site for vinyl, thanks for the link!

Ooh, but you know what? Clear vinyl w/ patterned fabric under it (like plaid or paisley) would be spiff! Dunno if that would be possible...

But yeah... those totally rawk! I'd be all about a purple one, or a neon green one, or a combination of the two! ::bounce::

oooh...that's a really good idea. I'm pretty sure it will work, putting normal fabric under the vinyl to make it patterened...I've done something similar before with another bag...yay, I'm gonna try it. I have some clear vinyl ^__^ gawd now I have a million bags I want to make...
