haha, that is kind of creepy! This cemetary is in Pasadena, CA (my hometown)-it is quite old...the oldest tombstones date back to the late 1800's. I think this one is fairly new (maybe the 50's) because they stopped allowing people to have large headstones above the ground like that after some time in the 60's I believe. (they cheaped out on groundskeeping....on the flat stones against the ground all they have to do is go over it with the lawnmower instead of having to go around all of the headstones) - which sucks because the big stones are so gorgeous....
Nice! Nice! I love b&w photos! and I enjoy photography as well. I've been trying to do something close to that, mainly with b&w films. I would love to see more! +_______+
thank you!!! I should have some more photos up in the next few days, i'm glad to hear you enjoy this one! btw- what kind of camera/film/photopaper do you use? I use a canon AE-1 (manual) and for b&w Ilford film and photopaper.
hehheeheh....i'm one of the ;___; ones who can't develop her own film so i just let other ppl develop my films for me. -o_O-[although, i really would like to have my own dark room and such.] so, basically, my photos are just those regular photopapers you get at target. i love matted photos though. they come out pretty well. as for camera, olympus [auto]:::blush::: err..not quite the photographer choice of camera. i am currently on a hunt to get a new Nikon [manual]...^__^ hopefully, i'll get it by the end of this year.
what are your techniques in taking a photo? [currently, i'm just experimenting with angles] //+_+\\
