Date: 2004-03-01 03:40 pm (UTC)Take the blue bodice off of the yellow dress and that makes the lace up and back of the blouse on the dress. all you have to do it make it where the blue part goes down to your waist. in the front and back. make it like a vest.
the part underneath the laced up part is just a long piece of fabric that's easily made. It's a whole bunch of gathers 1 in apart one the same piece of fabric. just sew that into the seams of the "vest" underneath.
(ps- god I love this pattern!)
Just take the bottom part of the bodice right above the skirt and add it onto the base of the vest! You can add as many layers as you really want to this way.
and the skirt you posted is just a loooong skirt that is gathered just at the seams!
If anybody has any questions about what I said, please ask. I know that sometime what I say is confusing, lol.
Now I am going to take these pics and make me this dress! *hugs* Thanks for posting them up! (I will post pics of myself wearing this whenever I get it done, but it may be awhile *darn college!*)
